Also you need a bunch of people who are alike in some

way, who feel some sense of belonging or inter personal
connection. So communities are technically human beings
that share common goal and interest. For Example is
Bayanihan.
What are types of Communities?
There are 6 types of community:
Formal Communities- Engange in joint activities and
discussion, help each other, and share information with each
other, they care about their standing with each other.
Example are: Ecovillages, Co-housing communities, Co-ops
Communities, also Religious Communities.

Informal Comminities- it is consists of a set of personal

relations, social networks, common interest and emotional
sources and motivation.
Examaple are: Academic Commuinities, Recreation
Communities and Retirement Communities.

Urban Communities- Are large in terms of a land area and

population, advanced in science and technology, with
favorable physical environment and diverse cultures, and
the people are engaged in various occupations.

Rural Communities- a land of lot of natures that has few

homes or other buildings unlike from urban community that
many people live in a city. Where in the large scale
industrialization that is evident from the high number of
employment opportunities.
For Example is the Provinces here in the philippines. We can
called it rural communities.

Global Communities- is an international development and

humanitarian aid organization.

Sectoral Communities- This Include the voluntary sector or

non-profit sector .
