Memories are one of the most crucial things we can cherish

throughout our lives. They build up our personality as all our

knowledge and previous experiences are stored there. Memories
can be good or bad but in the end, they’re all priceless. I bet you
all have an unforgettable memory, it can be those times you
played truant, the first time learn how to ride a bike, or stole
money from your parents to buy junk food, for me, I am no
exception. I will never forget the day when I was 10, eloped
with my friends to the field. Whenever I think about it I can’t
help laughing stupidly. I still remember it was sunny noon, the
sun shined bright rays on the ground, making the air extremely
hot and sweltering. I and my neighborhood children followed
one another to the field without asking parents for permission.
We were singing the summer songs out loud while walking. We
came to the field, and the wind blew bringing the smell of grass
flowers and ripe rice. We, 6 children, divided into 2 teams and
saw which team can catch more dragonflies. At that time, each
of us was an inch tall, the rice in its ripeness was taller than my
head, so nobody could see me when I was in the field. Because
of busy running after a big dragonfly, I couldn’t notice that I ran
to the river, which was too far from the field. Not until I fell
because of slippery road did I realize I got lost, I was too scared
and burst into tears immediately. I didn’t know what to do but
stood there and cried. Then after 20 minutes of crying, finally, I
saw one of my friends come to me. He was the boy whose name
is Khoi, he lived next to my house. At that moment, I thought
Khoi was a Sanit, I ran back and hugged him. Khoi took me
back to the field and bandaged my knee was bleeding. Then we
continue to play until late afternoon. I came home, and saw my
mom waiting for me with a feather broom in her hand. Although
I had to suffer the wrath of my mom, I had wonderful noon that
I will never forget.
