BALASANA (CHILD’S POSE)

PROCEDURE
• Knell down on the floor and sit on your buttocks. Keep your big toes
touching each other.
• Place your knees hip width apart and inhale .
• Now bend forward and exhale as you lay your torso between your thighs
and swing your hands forward.
• Hold this position for 2-3 minutes.
• At last, breathe in slowly and return to the starting position.
• You can repeat it for 5 to 10 minutes.

• Cures back pain
• Calms your mind and body
• Reduces stress and anxiety
• Helps in alleviating the hip pain and maintains the health of the posterior
• Improves your respiratory system and helps you breathe deeply

CONTRAINDICATIONS
• Avoid doing this asana if you have heavy knee or back pain.
• Do not perform asana with a full stomach
• Do not practice it if your blood pressure is low or high
• If you are suffering from Diarrhea, do not perform Balasana.
