About pattern
This pattern is made for those, who knows basics
of crochet, knows what Magic Ring, Invisible
Decrease and Increase is, and how to sew details
together.
If You don’t know it, watch Youtube videos first,
or learn about crocheting, and try to crochet
basic stitches and sew some crocheted details
together!

This pattern is written in American terms:


MR - Magic Ring
sl st- Slip Stitch
sc - Single Crochet
dc – Double Crochet
invdec - Invisible Decrease
inc – Increase
ch – Chain Stitch

Materials You'll Need:


1. White yarn.(I used „Alize Cotton Gold” white
yarn. 55% cotton 45% acrylic. 100gr-330m)
2. Crochet hook (I used 1,5 mm hook, but it is
smaller than size what is written on yarn
label. They reccomend 2-4mm)
3. Stuffing
4. Yarn Needle
5. Scissors
6. Safety eyes or eyes-buttons (I used 8 mm
safety eyes)
7. Black thread to make a line Baymax eyes
between(I used black mouline)
8. Grey or silver thread to to embroider a sign
on Baymax chest.

Head:

Row1: MR, single crochet 6 times. Pull your ring


tightly closed.
Row2: Increase in each stitch, you should have 12
stitches at the end.
Row3: 1sc, inc. Repeat 6x. (18)
Row4: 2sc, inc. Repeat 6x (24)
Row5: 3sc, inc. Repeat 6x (30)
Row6: 4sc, inc. Repeat 6x (36)
Row7: 5sc, inc. Repeat 6x (42)
Row8: 6sc, inc. Repeat 6x (48). Fix the beginning
thread in the back side.

Row9: I like to make a holes to put safety eyes
easy into the head. I crochet chain stitches for
that. 20sc, 1ch,7sc,1ch,19sc. (48) If you don’t
like to do this trick, crochet this row as 48sc
as previous row. 7sc between eyes must be.
Row10-Row11: 48sc
Row12: 6sc, invdec. Repeat 6x (42)
Row13: 5sc, invdec. Repeat 6x (36).
Row14: 4sc, invdec. Repeat 6x (30) Fix safety
eyes in Row9 holes if you made chain stitches, or
just fix the eyes in Row9 if you crocheted that
Row as 48sc. 7sc between eyes must be.
Row15: 3sc, invdec. Repeat 6x (24)
Sl st, Fix and hide the thread inside the head.
Stuff the head.
Take the black thread and make a one stitch from
one Baymax eye to another.

Now crochet two legs:


Row1: MR, single crochet 6 times.
Row2: Increase in each stitch, you should have 12
stitches at the end.
Row3: 1sc, inc. Repeat 6x (18)
Row4: 2sc, inc. Repeat 6x (24)
Row5: 3sc, inc. Repeat 6x (30)
Row6-Row12: 30sc
Fix and hide the thread in 1st leg and don’t cut
the thread in 2st leg! Now you need to piece both
legs together. Crochet 6 Single Crochet throught

body.

Slip Stitch, leave the thread to sew the body


with head together. Stuff the body till the end.

Arms [2pc]:

Crochet Finger(you need 3 pc for each arm. 6


fingers total. Thumbs we will crochet later):

Row3-Row5: 9sc

Fix and hide the thread in two fingers and don’t


cut the thread in 3st finger! Now you need to
piece fingers together...Do the same as we did
with legs, but now we need to piece 3 details
together. You will have 27 loops around after
piece fingers together.

Continue to crochet the arm:


Row1-Row3: 27sc. Stuff the fingers.
Row4: 7sc, invdec. Repeat 3x. (24)
Row5-Row6: 24sc
Row7: 6sc, invdec. Repeat 3x. (21)
Row8-Row9: 21sc

Fix and leave the thread to sew thumb to the
hand.

Pin thumb to the hand. Doble Crochet
stitches must be on the top of of hand....

And sew it to the hand...

Sew the Baymax body and head together. Hide
the end of the thread inside the toy...

Sew arms to the body parallel to each


other...

Crochet a small circle and sew it to the
Baymax chest. It will be a memory card
slot.
Row1: MR, single crochet 6 times (6)
Row2: 6inc. (12)
Sl.St. Fix and leave the thread to sew this
circle to the Baymax chest.
Pin it to the Baymax chest...

And sew it on...
