STATEMENT
Personal statement is a short description of your qualification
(background education, skills, experience) and general
goal/vision in career which you can offer and are related to
the field you are applying to.

You make personal statement when you apply for job and
scholarship.

CHARACTERISTICS :
Personal statement must be written briefly, no more than 2
paragraph or maximum 15 sentences.

A personal statement should answer the question “why are you


the best person for the job?”

Use positive sentences and make your personal statement


convincing to the employer that you are a good fit to job.

Make sure you present the points that show a match in skills,
experience and attitude to the job which you are applying to.
STRUCTURE :
1. Your name and education background.
2. What areas of expertise do you have?
3. What skills related to the job can you offer?
4. Number of years of your experience in the field.
5. What relevant industries have you ever worked
in/experience in working in the same field??
6. Do you have relevant interest and atitude matched the
job?
7. What is your career goal if you are hired for the job?
8. Your availability to work
You can use these common words in writing personal
statement
Able: I am able to brew hot and cold coffe.
Available: I am available to work on weekend from 8
am until 5 pm
Creative: I use my creativity to design new model
for fashion industry.
Manage: I am able to manage my time between
working and studying.
Dependable: I am dependable person in managing
office/team’s finance.
