THE WAZIR
The first few Wazirs were all unique, custom built
exclusively for members of Zenithian nobility. They were all
tailored to the taste of their specific buyer, and had only the
core structure and exuberant luxury in common. It wasn’t
until the early 50s (CC) that Harima announced the Mk-0,
which is a an affordable variant with a much more limited
and predetermined configuration. This proved to be a
prosperous move for the Harima shipyards, as it brought a
sense of Zenithian prestige within reach of a much larger
group of potential buyers. Among these new customers
were merchants, officials and entrepreneurs wanting to be
a part of the new era of progress and expansion, whether
they were Zenithian or not. Today the Mk-0 outnumber the
original models ten to one.
The Wazir Mk-0 owes much of its success to the fact
that it inherited some of the more extravagant features of
the original models. This includes core parts of the design
such as the power supply, high-performance propulsion
system, medlab, and even the integrated ship djinn which
-even though it is actually a simpler version than the one
provided for Zenithian nobility- is quite capable, and very
polite.
e OVERVIEW
Although nothing stopped the affluent nobles who
commissioned the original ships from adding their own
top of the line stasis modules, at its core the Wazir remains
a system shuttle. As such, the Mk-0 is not capable of
portal travel on its own accord. It is, however, an excellent
flyer, built for interplanetary traversal and atmospheric
flight. With a streamlined hull, supercharged graviton
projectors custom-built by Nomo, and a proprietary
power supply system with twin reactors, it is remarkably
fast and responsive for its size. It has even received
praise by commander Ehene ar-Eusidia of Nighthawk
squadron fame for its performance, saying that it is almost
comparable to the Awabil fighter craft (coincidentally also
built by Harima shipyards), only much more comfortable.
Ironically, many Wazirs see themselves repeating an
endless circuit between Coriolis station and the Monolith,
where the exceptional performance translates to little more
than a few minutes saved compared to a public shuttle.
There are of course others who have the wisdom to take full
advantage of its capabilities and functions. Most of them

make use of the cargo hold and hangar ramp to trade,
often in delicacies and other high value or niche goods,
making express deliveries throughout the system. The Wazir
comes stock with a compact grav sleigh that comes in
handy for such activities.
Those who stray from civilized space may have to
address the Mk-0 lack of defensive capabilities. The
reputation and sleek appearance of the Wazir makes it an
attractive target for corsairs and anyone else who doesn’t
care for Zenithian supremacy. While it can outrun most
ships, a true sense of security can only come from installing
at least an accelerator cannon. Parr-Nestera has just the
thing, already adapted for use on some of the custom
models.

e ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT
In the cargo hold of the Mk-0 you will find a specially
made graviton sleigh. It is essentially a 2 x 1,5m self-
stabilizing cargo platform that hovers and can be pushed
effortlessly to transport goods on and off the ship using the
cargo ramp. It is very easy to use and will stay perfectly still
if let go. In addition to the sleigh, two good quality exo shells
can be found in the exo shell storage compartment.
e INTERIOR
While not quite as extravagant as the private custom
models of the Wazir, the more accessible Mk-0 still sports
a very sleek and elegant interior, in true Harima fashion. In
contrast to its dim duralite hull the interior surfaces are all
pleasantly bright and soothing. The light gray wall panels
and bone white furniture with gold trimmings all flow
together in a coherent and obviously designed way.
THE FORE: Even though the ship can technically be operated
by a single crew member, the spacious crew quarters in
the front can comfortably accommodate four people.
Some crews elect to divide the open space which contains
a kitchen and mess, a workstation and even a corner for
relaxation, with decorative curtains to mimic the interiors
of a Zenithian palace. Another common feature is a potted
Kuan mountain laurel which is said to improve air quality
and at the very least smells good. Beyond the living area,
slightly elevated, is a small but very elegant bridge. The
control panels are made of an ivory-like material and the
pilot seat has a wide view of the surroundings through the
emerald glass canopy.
THE MIDDLE SECTION: In the center of the ship we find the
cargo hold, which is of decent size for a class II shuttle and
can hold 5 tons of cargo. The rear wall has three doors, the
central one is notably wider than the others and leads into
the central cargo corridor. Almost the entire floor of this
corridor is in fact a large ramp that can be lowered to the
ground. Together with the cargo hold itself this serves the
function of a hangar for small ground vehicles such as grav
bikes or the included grav sleigh. Slightly larger vehicles
can also be housed directly in this corridor and deployed to
the ground the same way. The other two doors in the cargo
hold lead to the reactor compartments, one of which also
serves as an alternate passage to the back of the ship, if
the central corridor is blocked or the ramp is down.

THE STERN: The docking port airlock leads into an official
looking entrance hall with a subtle floral emblem on the
floor. From here one can reach the exo storage compart-
ment, the small medlab, as well as the two corridors that
lead further into the ship.
WHAT ABOUT THE ORIGINAL CUSTOM WAZIRS?
They are all different from each other. Meaning they would
each need their own variant of the standard deck plan.
Seeing how there are only a few of them in existence and
they are only used by a specific small group of people, I felt
the Mk-0 was of more interest to both players and GM.
If however, you wanted to feature one of them, I suggest
you swap out the crew area of the Mk-0 for a Suite, with all
the luxuries you can fit, including a private mini-hamam.
Part of the cargo hold can be converted to quarters for
servants, crew and security detail. Additionally I suggest
you add more Ship Features such as ED-fields, Trauma Lab
and an Advanced Accelerator Cannon. Switch out the grav
sleigh for an experimental grav bike, or five of them. Spare
no expenses.
