Ashley: Yes, they are. My feet are killing me, actually.

B: Hi!

A: I’m Joseph, I’m the bride’s brother.

B: Oh, nice to meet you, I’m Katherine, friend of the groom.

A: Really? How did you guys meet?

B: We worked together when we were like fifteen at Mountview Cinema and after that we became really good friends.

A: Wow, so you’ve been friends for a long time now.

B: Yes, It’s a lot of time I guess, and everything has happened so fast. Now he is getting married and everything.
A: It’s a really big step, but they look really happy together.

B: Totally. It’s weird that we haven’t met before though, I always visit them.

A: So what do you do for a living?

B: I’m a Software Engineering at a retail company, my work is to create new technologies to make user experience way easier.

A: So you make online shopping easier?

B: Yes, that’s pretty much what I do. What about you?

A: I’m a journalist, I write articles for Vogue Magazine, mostly about fashion and new trends.

B: That’s cool, have you ever met someone famous?

A: Yeah, I once interviewed Sarah Jessica Parker for an article.

B: Wow, I love her movies.

A: Me too! I was really nervous, but it turned out pretty well, she loved what I wrote.

B: Wish I could meet someone famous.

A: So where are you from?

B: I’m from Texas, but now I live in New York. And you?

A: I’m Colombian, I came to America a couple years ago.

B: Cool, and where do you live?

A: In Staten Island.
B: Oh, we live pretty close then.

A: Yeah, I go to the city very often, I have a lot of friends there.

B: I’ve never been to Staten Island though.

A: You can come visit me sometime, I can show you around.

B: Sure! That would be cool.
