For its competitive intelligence division known as Deloitte Intelligence, Deloitte started hiring

former CIA employees in 2007.

The UK practice of Arthur Andersen, which was the company's largest outside of the US,
decided to merge with the UK practice of Deloitte in 2002. Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal,
Belgium, and Andersen's methods In 2009, after BearingPoint (previously KPMG Consulting)
sought bankruptcy protection, Deloitte paid $350 million for the North American public service
unit. In January 2010, the UK real estate consultants Drivers Jonas were acquired by Deloitte

the scope of its sustainability service offerings, Deloitte purchased DOMANI Sustainability
Consulting and ClearCarbon Consulting in 2011.Deloitte announced the acquisition of
Übermind, a mobile advertising business, in January 2012. With the acquisition, Deloitte entered
the market for mobile applications for the first time.

Recombinant by Deloitte was established in November 2012 after Deloitte bought Recombinant
Data Corporation, a provider of clinical intelligence tools and data warehousing services.
Converge HEALTH by Deloitte was established in February 2013 after Recombinant by Deloitte
joined with a company-owned informatics division called Deloitte Health Informatics.

After filing for bankruptcy on January 11, 2013, Monitor Group, the strategic consulting
company founded by Harvard Business School professor Michael Porter, was mostly bought by
Deloitte.

The business unveiled Rubix in 2014, a blockchain consulting service that offers advice to
clients across a range of industries, including government. The business established its first
blockchain lab in Dublin in 2016. In January 2017, a second center opened its doors in New
York. Deloitte Canada installed a Bitcoin ATM and outfitted a cafeteria in its office complex to
accept bitcoin as payment in 2016. In order to provide services relevant to initial coin offerings,
Deloitte CIS teamed with Waves Platform. In May 2017, Deloitte joined the Ethereum
Enterprise Alliance and the Hyperledger Project, both of which are supported by the Linux
Foundation.
The advertising firm Heat of San Francisco, well known for its work on the Hotwire travel
website and Madden NFL from EA Sports, was acquired by Deloitte in 2016. Deloitte Digital
