How to attempt mocks

1. GK approx 5-6 min max. (60-55 min)
2. English approx 8-9 min max. (55-45 min)
3. Reasoning approx 15-16 min max. (45–28 min).
4. Maths approx 24-25 min max. (28/30 – 4/6 min).
5. Rest 4/6 min for again reasoning then math.

GK
Attempt GK – Don’t invest more time in any particular question. If you don’t know the answer that
means you don’t know the answer so skip that question immediately.

(In gk if you confuse in any two options (50-50 type) then mark the answer that you like more logical)

If you don’t know the exact answer of any current affair question but you think that one answer is
more familiar to you then mark the answer.

If you are good in any subject like few of you are from science background so you can also guess the
answer.

Use elimination method – If you eliminate two options then mark one of the remaining two answers.

English
Attempt English.
Attempt all Questions

If you think any question is completely new to you then skip that one.

If passage or cloze tests are not in sequence, then skip them and attempt after seeing all questions of
English section.

Use logics what will come next like verb, preposition etc. in Parajumble or cloze test.

Use elimination in Vocab, use root words in vocab.

Reasoning
Attempt Reasoning
First attempt easy questions, short questions, questions in which you are very confident.

Skip long questions, if you know that in a particular type of question you always trap then skip that
question in first attempt.

If any question from number series, missing numbers, alphabetical series etc is not strike in your mind
in 15-20sec then skip that question immediately.

Like this way attempt and skip, attempt and skip you will solve approx. 16-18 questions within 12 mins,
rest 4-5 mins again try to solve skipped questions or time taking questions.

In rest 4-5 mins again attempt number series, missing numbers, alphabetical series questions for the
second time and again if logic will not hit in your mind within 15-20sec then leave that question.

Math
Attempt Math
First Round

First attempt easy questions, especially one-liner questions in which you are always feel confident.

(1) If you find any question that has been solved many times before but at present you are not
able to solve that question then don’t take that question on your ego. Leave that question
because either you are not reading that question carefully or you miss something in
calculation. Therefore, it is better to solve that question in second or third round.

If Data Interpretation is not given sequentially then leave all D.I and attempt after first round.

Second Round- attempt those questions, which are lengthy or calculative, but you can solve.

Then attempt again that question in which you were missed something.

Third Round – This round for those questions in which you have not any idea or seems very difficult

Try to solve with tricks like unit digit, multiple of any options, go by options etc.

#Rest 4-6 min.

Again go in Reasoning section and try to solve skipped questions and try to find doable questions.

If you will not find any question in reasoning then again go on maths sections and try to solve skipped
questions.
#Note
Try to maximize your attempt in every possible way.

You may have any other strategy. If you are habitual with that then don’t change it.
