5. Outline your experience providing case management and/or settlement services and how you would deliver
this in Australia for CSP entrants.

I have established a relationship of trust and respect with clients. I have acted as a facilitator of couple
and families counseling sessions. I am mediatator in a confilict resolution setting. I provided relevant
information or resources specific to address their issues. I have management training and have sound
knowledge and experience in my clinical experience.

How to deliver this in Australia for CSP entrants:
As the Humanitarian Settlement Services (HSS) program provides early practical support to
humanitarian entrants on arrival, and throughout their initial settlement period, generally for
the first six to 12 months.

I will deliver the HSS program on behalf of the Australian Government. I will help
humanitarian entrants to access other services or programs if needed. Participation in the HSS
program is voluntary and support is provided on a needs basis, which means that not all
humanitarian entrants will require all available services.

I will meet the objectives of the HSS program which are to provide humanitarian entrants
with:
• Tailored support to begin a new life in Australia
• An opportunity to strengthen their ability to fully participate in the economic and
social life of Australia
• Skills and knowledge to independently access services beyond the HSS program
• Services in accordance with the program's principles.

HSS service delivery principles
Being Service Provider I will promote the following principles:
• Respect the human worth and dignity of clients and their cultural and religious diversity
• Protect the health and wellbeing of clients
• Ensure clients are involved in decisions that affect them and have influence over their
settlement pathways
• Deliver services flexibly through a tailored case management approach which priorities
need and early intervention strategies
• Give particular attention to the needs of children and young people

Being HSS providers I will work with clients to identify their needs and develop a case
management plan to deliver a tailored package of services to meet these needs, including:
• Meeting clients at the airport
• Help with transport to their initial accommodation
• Assistance with finding suitable longer-term accommodation
• Property induction
• Providing an initial food package and start-up pack of household goods
• Assistance to register with Medicare, health services, banks, schools and an Adult
Migrant English Program (AMEP) provider

I, also will work with other settlement and mainstream services to assist clients with their
settlement needs beyond the HSS period, including community and recreational program
6. Demonstrate how you will engage a Humanitarian Settlement Program (HSP) service provider to support
the settlement of the entrant(s) and how you are planning on delivering settlement services not provided by the
HSP provider in the entrant’s settlement location in line with your answer to question 5

The engagement of Humanitarian Settlement Program (HSP) service provider to
support the settlement of the entrant(s)
I will engage a humanitarian settlement program service provider to support the settlement of
entrants by making him able to understand as follows:

The onshore Humanitarian Settlement Program (HSP) will provide early practical support to
refugee and humanitarian entrants on arrival, and throughout their initial settlement period.
Service providers deliver the program on behalf of the Australian Government and assist
clients to build skills and knowledge for social and economic wellbeing through a needs-
based case management approach.
Support through the HSP will aim to provide refugees and humanitarian entrants to Australia
with the knowledge, skills and independence to commence their new lives and contribute to
the economic and social fabric of Australia.
HSP service providers work with clients to identify their needs and goals and develop an
individual case management plan. Service providers support clients to achieve outcomes in:
• Housing;
• Physical and Mental Health and Well-being;
• Managing Money and Transport;
• Community Participation and Networking;
• Family Functioning and Social Support;
• Justice;
• Language Services;
• Education and Training; and
• Employment.

Accommodation
The service provider will make the arrangements for the accommodation of the refugees and
Humanitarians. It’s the foremost responsibility of the service provider to provide the
accommodation facilities to the Humanitarians
Education
HSP satisfy the educational needs of Humanitarians. Several kindergartens and early childhood
centers meet the needs of refugee and humanitarian entrant  families in South Australia. The
Mount Gambier North, Reidy Park and McDonald Park schools are among the public primary
schools in the city, while public secondary schools are Grant and Mount Gambier high schools.

The New Arrival Program at the Mount Gambier North Primary School and Mount Gambier
High School, also delivers an Intensive English Language Program for refugee and
humanitarian entrants.

Health Services
Specialised refugee health services include:
• New Arrival Refugee Immunization Program
• dental services
• diabetes educators
• dieticians
• radiology and x-ray services.

General Practice (GP) clinics in the Mount Gambier area provide health services to newly
arrived refugees. The doctors use telephone interpreter service and bulk bill clients under
Medicare.

Employment Opportunities
The HSP make the humanitarians able to do work or to be adjusted in a job as per the skills
and expertise of the humanitarians. It’s the basic responsibility of an HSP to provide the
employment opportunities for the humanitarians. I will meet this responsibility to make
arrangement to providing employment opportunities for humanitarians.

Planning on delivering settlement services not provided by the HSP provider in the entrant’s
settlement:
I will deliver settlement services not provided by HSP Provider in the entran’s settlment by making
a proper plan, My plan would be as follows:

 Helping entrants in seeking the basic knowledge about Australian Culture.

 Making them able to speak english by providing them some kind of Eglish learning courses.
 By establishing a relationship of trust between employers and entrants so that they can get
jobs and employment to earn money for their families.
 Creating an opportunity of learning local environment to absorbed in and to adjust
themselves.

7.  Outline  your  strategy  for  ensuring  the  entrants  you  support  will  achieve  financial  self-
sufficiency  within  the  first  12  months  following  arrival.
Strategy for ensuring the achievement of financial self-sufficiency of the Entrants
I will do following for entrants to become financially independent after 12 months

1. Accommodation and household goods
2. Adoption of Australian culture’
3. Making entrants environments friendly
4. English training
5. Educating them
6. Short and long term counseling
7. Delivering effective referrals and information
8. Health services
9. Promoting Regional Settlement
10. Improving professional skills
11. Creating an employment platform
12. Making arrangement of meeting with employers of different firm

8.  Articulate  how  you  will  manage  client  expectations  which  align  with  programme
outcomes while  managing  relationships with  entrants,  the  Australian  supporters
(individuals, families,  community  organisations,  businesses), and  government
agencies.
Management of Client Expectation
I  will manage  the client’s expectation by following a complete  strategy  which  is as follows:

1. Build a relationship that goes beyond client/vendor
I will build a strong relationship with the clients. By building the relationships we both parties
would be in a better position to understand and resolve our problems mutually. I believe that
developing a personal relationship goes a long way in building a stronger business relationship.
I’ll get to know the client's family situation, how they spend their free time, where their interests
lie and, most importantly, what motivates them daily. When I understand, what makes them
tick as a person, I can translate that into my business relationship.

2. Regularly communicate and address problems directly
A lack of communication is usually at the root of most problems associated with clients. Any
good client relationship will be able to weather setbacks if we are proactive in communicating
both good and bad news. When communication is direct and transparent, trust forms and helps
to create a foundation for long-lasting relationships. I will communicate directly with my
clients to know their problems and will make my efforts to resolve their problems and issues.

3. Agree on strategy, goals and timelines
Until we and our client agree on strategy, goals and timelines, we are always at risk of them
not understanding what success is and how it should be measured. I always suggest creating a
scope-of-work document that outlines the program details, budgets and metrics. This will
alleviate any confusion over expectations and hopefully eliminate a difficult conversation.

4. Be a counselor
When  we  offer our client advice, direction, input and business counsel, we  become a  truly
valuable partner. This style of open dialogue helps to establish the respect necessary to ensure
better project management. Clients hire outsourced marketing services because they want an
objective opinion. If we fail at giving that POV, we subject ourselves to being a "yes man or
woman," which will ultimately be our undoing. I always be a good counselor and will provide
counseling to my valued clients.

5. Be a good listener
I will be a good listener and always listen my clients with a great concentration. Listening is
one  of  the  most misunderstood  and  least used  tools in managing  client expectations.  Many
clients are unsure of what they are trying to accomplish or not very good at articulating it. As
such, I have excellent intuition and listening skills to identify key messages being
communicated

9.  Explain  how  you  will  manage  any  breakdowns  in  relationships  between  the  relevant
parties  involved  as  per  question  8. Please  also  explain  how  you  plan  to  discharge
your  responsibilities  as  an  APO  in  these  circumstances.

Any dispute arising between the relevant parties during providing service to the applicant or
entrance will be dealt with as

follows:

The Party claiming that there is a dispute will send to the other a notice setting out the

nature of the dispute (Notice);

The Parties will try to resolve the dispute by direct negotiation, including by referring the

matter to persons who may have authority to intervene and direct a resolution of the

dispute; and

The Parties have ten (10) days from the sending of the Notice to reach a resolution or to

agree that the dispute will be submitted to mediation or some other form of alternative

dispute resolution

10.  Detail  how  you  will  assist  entrants  to  adjust  and  integrate  in  to  life  in  Australia  and
become  contributing  members  of  the  Australian  community

I will assist the entrants to adjust and integrate into life in Australia and to become a contributing
member of the Australian community by applying following strategies:
1. Residence

I will make my efforts to get residence for the new entrants so that they can be settled into
Australia and start a new life here.

2. Education

After getting the residence, now I would strive to make a relationship among entrants and
education institution from where they can get basic education to live a well-balanced life and to
contribute towards the Australian economy.

3. Language Training Program

Language is a most essential part regarding adjustment the new entrants into the Australian
culture. I will plan and find some language training institution for new entrants so that they can
learn the basic language being spoken in Australia and can get a job. In this way, they can
contribute towards Australian economy also.

4. Professional Work Experience

Professional work is also necessary to adjust the new entrants in Australia. Many new entrants
must need to get experience in professional work to obtained a good job so that they can earn and
enjoy a better life here in Australia and they can also contribute towards Australian Economy.

5. Health Facilities

Provision of better health facilities is also an important aspect regarding new entrant’s adjustment
and integration into Australian Life and to become a contributing member of Australian
community. Healthy people would be in a better position to lean and work for their own settlement
and to contribute towards economy. So, I will make my efforts to make them able to get better
health facilities and will request local health department relevant to that area in which new
entrants would be residing to provide better and immediate health facilities for the new entrants.

6. Australian Culture Learning

To be absorbed in culture and to become a member of Australian community I will make

arrangements for building relationships of new entrants with the Local inhabitants of Australia so
that they can learn the Australian Culture to work with local people and to live a good and joyful
life here in Australia.

7. Local and Social Norms

By understanding the social and local norms the new entrants would be able to adjust themselves
and to integrate with the community of Australia. So, I will try to make interactions among
entrants and the local community in this regard.

8. Friendly Environment

I will provide a friendly environment to the new entrants so that they can feel free to learn about
the culture and norms of Australia. After learning the norms and traditions of local environment
the new entrants would be better able to be adjusted and contribute towards the community of
Australia.

9. Counseling

I will provide my counseling services to new entrants in case of their adjustment and integrating
with the local community of Australia. When new entrants feel any hesitation or any other
inconvenience, I will provide them sessions in which they would be able to get a better advice how
to get rid of such a situation.

10. Employment Opportunities

I will help Entrants to get the job as per their area of interest and their qualification and skills.
After getting suitable jobs the entrants would be able to adjust themselves and to integrate with the
Australian community.

11.  Please explain  how you  intend  to advertise your  services as  an  APO to engage

relevant  community  groups,  businesses  and  individuals.  Please  also  include  how  you
might  link  your  services  to  potential  entrants  overseas  who  have  no  links  to  Australia.

Market Strategy

1. Social Media

People now a day’s use web to look for pictures and videos of products to know what they are
going to purchase. So, by making and uploading introductory videos about our services

2. Offline and Online marketing

By using online and offline means of communication like word of mouth advertising via
employees and owners. Professional signage and branding on the front of premises. Joining online
networks and contributing to industry forums. Professional design of logo and all communications,
radio, print or cable and using social networking sites like Facebook and by blog URL in offline
ads, we will increase our sales

3. Message adaption

Love Life Counselling will carefully create messages for various social websites. Because
different websites have different criteria for example what is acceptable on Facebook may be spam
on twitter. Also, message will be created keeping in view that individual who is following business
on twitter as well as on Facebook so separate messages will be prepared as not to give him the
same message again.

4. Local Social Network

We will get our site included in local business directories so that our customers find us when they
need us. Like local Yellow pages.
5. Local Newspaper

By placing advertisement in local newspaper. I will publish ads in the local newspaper on a
editorial page.
12.  Please also include how you might link your services to potential entrants overseas who have no links
to Australia.
I would like to link my services to potential entrants who have no links in Australia by following:

 I will provide payments to support potential entrants who may be experiencing hardship
 I will provide my services in getting visa
 I will offer accommodational services
 I will make arrangements to get some job opportunities
