Amanda suspected that Sonny was hiding something. He had realized that he would be arriving
later from work, had put a password on his cell phone and that it avoided any kind of physical
effect that Rollins wanted to give him.
He called Sonny to tell him that tonight he would just do it for them, and that Jesse was going to
have a sleepover night with Noah.
“Honey, I have a lot of work to do tonight, but I will try to get there as soon as possible,” Carisi
said.
“Okay, I’ll wait for you Sonny” she answered a little disappointed, but something told her that she
was lying
Fin walked over to his desk. “Amanda, were you talking to Carisi?” she just nodded “call your man
back, I need a warrant.” He called his partner again but did not answer so he decided to call his
office, who answered was his secretary.
“Hey Lucia could you pass me to the lawyer”
The lady on the other end of the phone replied, “I’m sorry, Ms. Carisi, you’re not here.”
Amando just laughed because the secretary still didn’t understand that she wasn’t Carisi since they
weren’t married. “Umm, I think it just came out”
“He left not half an hour ago, he had an important dinner, he told me”
Amanda bit her lip to stop asking questions. “Ok, thanks” and hung up. She was left thinking that
 her boyfriend was lying to her. He shook his head and decided to stop thinking about those things.
_Later in your apartment_
He was on his couch having a glass of wine when he heard the noise from the door. She turned to
see her boyfriend enter.
“Hey love you’re still awake” he leaned in to kiss Amanda on the forehead
“I told you I was going to wait up for you,” she replied. “Did you have a lot of work?” She inquired
hoping that he would say that he changed his plans and decided to go out with his colleagues.
“Yes, there was no one in the office at this time”
She just smiled, it was a sad smile since she knew he was lying to her.
“Ok Manda I know you had a dinner planned, but I’m tired, I’m going to take a shower and then
we go to bed”
I walk to the bathroom. Amanda followed him a minute later. He saw all his clothes thrown away
and lifted them to put them in the laundry basket. When he lifted his shirt, he realized that his shirt
smelled of women’s lotion and that lotion was not hers. Amanda covered her mouth so as not to
scream, she wanted to go up to him and yell at him and claim him, but she calmed down and
decided not to try to draw conclusions until she had evidence. But she refused to believe that the
love of her life was cheating on her.
Rollins was already in bed when he lay down next to her.
“Good night Manda” he said and turned his back on Amanda. She wrapped her arms around his
waist to stay close to him. And said in a low voice “I love you Dominick”
