Collecting NSR Report
Collecting NSR Report
Select the option System Utilities and you would get to the following screen:
On this screen select the option 3 Runtime Report and select y to start
capture:
Method 2:
An alternate way to capture the NSR report if you do not have the serial cable
is to telnet to the IP address of the NSR. First you will have to login to the IM
with the credentials cliadmin/clipwd and then enter service mode with service "2
day password".
Run show lib cli .
su (to enter the root mode).
ping -b 10.0.0.255 (if the library ip address is 192.168.x.x.).
or ping -b 192.168.0.255 (if the library ip address is in the 10.x.x.x network).
Normally the IP addresses ending in x.x.x.90/91/92 are assigned to the IFC's.
So telnet x.x.x.90 and login with root and password. Follow the procedure
mentioned in the screenshot above.
Method 3:
Set the laptop to a dhcp mode and connect to the one of the 4 free port on the
IM. Once the notebook gets an internal IP address, proceed to login to the RMI
of the Interface Controller.
