INTRODUCTION

Aishah is a successful entrepreneur who has founded a very innovative tuition center (Aishah
Excellent Tuition Center). Aishah has also started this business for the past 4 years and has 15
students and 2 teachers to teach only. In addition, he has recorded all student and teacher transactions
and information in a physical book. Soon, he learned some computer skills in using Microsoft Office
applications such as MS Word and MS Excel as the number of students continued to increase. As
the number of students continues to increase, the data will also grow larger and become more
difficult to manage. So, someone has suggested he buy enterprise software. My Friends and I are
undergoing industrial training in this highly innovative tuition center. So, we helped Aishah manage
her student data.

The things we need to do are as follows: -

1. A form to record and retrieve the student data (fields required include, student name,
address, phone, email, parent name, school name, registration date, etc.).

2. A form to record student fees and generate fee receipts.

3. A form to record expenses (by expense category e.g. salary, utilities, rent, insurance, etc.).

4. A report showing total income by the package (popular at the top).

5. A report showing total income by school name (highest at the top).

6. A report showing total expense by expense category (largest at the top).

7. A simple profit and loss report showing total income and expense by month.

CONCLUSION

Overall, Microsoft Access has provided many conveniences in storing data and information
about a business. The arrangement of data and information can also be arranged in order and easy
to understand. It is also easy to organize and view relationships between query tables. Microsoft
Access is also capable of accommodating very large and large amounts of data. The security of the
data and information in it is also guaranteed because it has password protection that can only be
opened by people who know it. In this assignment, we can learn how to use Microsoft Access and
apply it in a business firm. Microsoft Access has also helped our group a lot to manage Aishah's
growing student data.
