Human nature and social Relationship

Introduction:
Human nature, two words, each world composed of two syllables, but if you think deeply than
that and take a closer look, you will discover more than “just syllables”. Human nature; the
way we are built, the way we are meant to behave, either you like it or not, it what makes
humans _well, HUMANS. Human nature in general, is the sum total of our species identity, the
mental, physical, and spiritual characteristics that make us unique. And please don’t confuse
that with what you have learned throughout life, it has nothing to do with that. Imagine this,
your cat (if you have one), just gave birth, and you’re just lying there on your couch watching
your cat breastfeeding those little kittens, and suddenly, strange questions start to pop up in
your head, “what made her breastfeed them? How did they learn to feed from her breasts and
they just got born? What made them act like that?...” well they definitely didn’t learn that, I
can assure that, they are programmed to do so, behaviors written deep down in their genes,
scares in their DNA, they have their basic behaviors that ensure the survival of their specie, so
do we, and that _my friend_ what is called human nature, it’s an easy and complex concept at
the same time.

But before we go any further, what you’re about to read may seem a little hard to believe or
comprehend for some people, so if you’re not willing to open your mind and admit some of
the bad behaviors you do, you can just stop here , no pressure.

Okay where were we? OH-yeah, human nature, to be clear, no one knows where did it come
from, why is it there, what the purpose of it, did we developed it throughout millions of years
of existence on this earth? Or does it born with us (simply)? no one can determine the right
answers for those questions. But what scientists agreed about so far, that this human nature is
(somehow)_evil, yes_ evil, (not all of it of course) but the majority of it, blame, greed,
selfishness, jealousy, hate, love of violence/destruction…, those behaviors are around us all
the time, in school, work, public places…, you just need to open your eyes, and to pay a closer
look, and believe me, once you start paying attention, you will start noticing those behaviors .
“The whole world lies in wickedness” The Bible. Human nature is wicked, no one knows why,
it is what it is, maybe it’s some sort of self defense mechanism that works as a subconscious
shield to prevent you from any physical or mental damages that may occur to you. Like
wanting the last slice of pizza for yourself, maybe because you are still hungry, or maybe its
taste brings you pleasure, either way, you have became selfish. And no one blames you; I
would have done the same thing if I were you. This sort of behaviors can be controlled
sometimes, but not all the times, no matter how hard you try to control those behaviors, they
will eventually pop up in the right environment.

And as those behaviors can affect you, they can affect others around you, your relationships,
you’re your friends, your family, your children…, you may not notice, but human nature plays
a deep role in our relationship with others, it motivated you to go talk to that pretty girl with
that nice blue dress and that blonde lovely hair that you have been staring at her non-stop for
30 Minutes straight (attraction). It makes you feel jealous when someone is talking to her and
you can do nothing about it (jealousy), and you wish you can punch the shit out of that guy
(anger). Why can’t you admit it, it was your fault, why do you keep blaming others, maybe it
really wasn’t your fault, or maybe you are just trying to protect your ego (YUP… Ego… this little
buddy can cause a lot of problems, we’ll talk about that later), you just cannot admit that,
your brain refuses to (blame).

Anyways, we’re going to cover all these “BAD’ human nature behaviors, and how can it affect
people around us. (Oh boy this is going to be exciting).

Humanity sucks_ yeah I said it_ after all these years we are still some sort of primitive animals
that are “still” controlled with some bunch of hormones, we still got years of evolution to
break this circle, and I hate to be the negative one, but as far as I can see, we are only going to
the worse, despite all this technology advancements.

Love to survive :
Once your eyes saw that beautiful face, that amazing body, and that blue outfit, they got fixed,
you started sweating, your heart started beating so fast like you have been chased by a dog,
you started having butterflies in your stomach. Could this be love, oh-wow it is love, you’re
definitely in love, and it feels so good. Well sorry to inform you, there is no such thing called
love, it is just your human nature forcing to breed (if you mean by love a bunch of hormones
that occurs in your brain, you call it that then, no pressure, but at least don’t tell me “love”
comes from your heart or your heart has something to do with it, that’s dumb).

According to a team of scientists led by Dr.Helen Fisher at Rutgers, what we call love can be
broken into three categories, LUST, ATTRACTION, and ATTACHEMENT. Each one has its own
set of hormones released from the brain and affecting your behaviors.
Starting with the first one, LUST: is driven by the need to reproduce and pass on our genes, it
is a need shared among all creatures to ensure the survival of their species.

The Hypothalamus in our brains stimulates the production of the sex hormones (Testosterone
and Estrogen) from testes and ovaries which are important to drive sexual desire. That is why
when you see an attractive woman/man, you start having those weird uncontrollable
behaviors like sweating. It’s not your fault kid, love got you again.

ATTRACTION:

It appears to be a closely related phenomenon. Attraction involves the brain pathways that
control “reward” behavior, that explains why the first weeks of a relationship can be all-
consuming.

During attraction, the hypothalamus produces DOPAMINE, and it’s usually released when we
do things that make us feel good. High levels of dopamine and another related hormone
norepinephrine, make us so energetic…..

Plus, attraction seems to affect the levels of serotonin, a hormone that is known to be
involved in appetite and mood, leading to decreased appetite and insomnia, which pretty
much sums up what love is.
