Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) is a power distribution company fully owned by
Government of Pakistan, with a work force of more than 10500 employees. HESCO is providing
electricity to more than 1.2 million consumers of 13 districts of Southern Sindh (Hyderabad, Thatta,
Mirpurkhas, Nawabshah, Matiari, Jamshoro, Badin, Sangar, Umerkot, Sujawal, Tando Muhammad
Khan, Tando Allah Yar, Tharparkar except Karachi). HESCO invites applications through M/s Quaid-e-
Awam University Testing Service (QAUTS) for recruitment to fill the following positions of officers on
one year contract extendable on performance and need basis. All quotas such as Provincial, Former
FATA, GB, AJK, Women, Disabled & Minority etc., will be observed as per Govt: of Pakistan Policy
wherever applicable. The appointments will be made on lump sum salary / pay package, without any
possibility of regularization in future.

INSTRUCTIONS & GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. All candidates will be selected on merit, observing the quota as per Federal Government Policy.
2. Age relaxation allowed as per government policies is already given against all posts. No further
age relaxation is allowed in the prescribed age limit except the candidates belonging to Scheduled
Cast, Buddhist, FATA, Gilgit Baltistan & AJK for further 03 years.
 3. Candidates applying against disabled quota must attach disability certificate from Assessment
Board for the disabled persons from city / district / provincial council for rehabilitation of disabled
persons.
4. Government Servants who have completed 2 years continuous service on the closing date of
applications are advised to apply through proper channel. Candidates have to provide
departmental No Objection Certificate at the time of interview in original.
5. Minorities, Disabled & Women quota (where applicable) will be observed as per Government
policy.
6. In house induction quota for HESCO employees having prescribed qualification and criteria meant
for direct induction, subject to condition that they will appear in induction exam for the post of
Asstt. Manager Accounts at Sr. No. 02.
7. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Test / Interview.
8. No TA / DA will be allowed to the candidates for test / interview.
9. Concealment or misrepresentation of facts at any stage will lead to disqualification of the
candidate even after appointment.
10. Only those candidates who fulfill the requisite qualifications / criteria are eligible to apply.
Candidates to whom final marks sheets have not been issued shall not be considered. The
candidates awaiting results are not eligible to apply.
11. No applications in person / through courier will be accepted in HESCO.
12. Last date for submission of online applications is 07-11-2022.
13. The candidates shall be called for interview / further process subject to detailed scrutiny of
documents and after checking eligibility under the rules. Mere passing of written test does not
make the candidate eligible for further recruitment process.
14. Eligibility of the candidates shall be determined on the basis of academic qualifications, written
test and interview marks.
15. Dismissed / screened out employees of any organization or having criminal record are not eligible
for employment.
16. Candidates may contract M/s Quaid-e-Awam University Testing Service (QAUTS) for any query
/ enquiry regarding written test, display of provisional and final list of candidates, Roll number

17. Selected candidates can be posted anywhere under the jurisdiction of HESCO or throughout
Pakistan where HESCO has its business stakes as per requirement of the company.
18. This advertisement can be cancelled by competent authority without assigning any reason and
reserves the right to withhold the recruitment process at any stage and increase or decrease the
number of posts.
19. Employment of the candidates shall be subject to verification of educational testimonials / police
verification and medical fitness.

HOW TO APPLY

i. Application forms, Challan and other information are available on M/s Quaid-e-Awam University
Testing Service (QAUTS) website qts.quest.edu.pk
ii. After the submission of the online application, candidates must download the system generated
challan of Rs.428/- and deposit it in any of the country-wide online branches of HBL. The deposited
fee is not refundable.
iii. Application form along with copy of CNIC, Domicile Certificate, requisite educational documents
and copy of the paid fee challan (in original) is to be sent to Project HESCO, Quaid-e-Awam
 University Testing Service QAUTS, Department of Telecommunication Engineering, QUEST,
Sakrand Road, Nawabshah upto 07-11-2022. Applications incomplete in any respect and
received after the due date will not be entertained.
iv. Candidates are advised not to change their mobile numbers, Postal and email addresses during
the recruitment process. Doing so can result in non intimation of the test date, result and interview
schedule.
v. Candidate has to sign a declaration that the information provided by him / her is correct.

WARNING
