Salmonella is caused by eating raw meat, poultry, eggs and egg products by drinking unpasteurized milk.

Salmonella can be severe and the person that had infected with salmonella are most likely ended up in a
hospital.
Salmonellosis, also known as Salmonella, is a common bacterial disease of the intestine. Salmonella
bacteria are typically found in the intestines of animals and humans and are excreted through feces.
Humans are most commonly infected through contaminated water or food, but on some cases, human
can be infected also through the ingestion of a raw or undercooked poultry meats and unpasteurized
poultry products.

Food handlers who do not wash their hands and the surfaces and tools they use between food
preparation steps, as well as people who consume raw or undercooked foods, can spread salmonella.
Salmonella can also be transmitted from animals to humans. The estimated cases of Salmonella bacteria
cause is about 1.35 million infection. The death rate in the United States only is about 420 deaths per
year. It’s not that very deadly, but the bacteria itself pose a threat to human health and it can kill.
