Bullying, a process in which one person repeatedly uses his superior strength or influenced to mistreat,

attack or force other to do something. Bullying exist in all communities since long time, it is also considered

a common form of violence in school. Bullying may involve many sections including verbal, physical

assault, threats, joke or language and criticizing. Various studies indicate that bullying makes school unsafe

place for students and contributes in the belief that some school are not safe anymore. Bullying constitute a

complex problem in school, kids lives, it is a problem that affects all students either bullies or victims and

those who attended interpersonal violence. Bullying at school affects academic performances because of

bullies, children feel fear and weak in the same time it affects the student personality traits and self -

confidence. Therefore such situation makes bullied students unable to follow or to pay attention for their

study and even they might do not like to go to school.

A. OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

Our goal is to conduct a bullying prevention program in our school or community and we will

work with school administrators, teachers, parents, and students to create a safe and supportive

environment for all. We will research best practices for bullying prevention and create a plan to

implement them. We will also work to raise awareness of the issue of bullying and provide

resources to those affected. Finally, we will evaluate the program to ensure it is effective in

reducing school bullying.

B. SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

A focus of preventing bullying is important as promoting positive actions such as kindness,

acceptance and inclusion. In some case bullying can lead to devastating consequences like

suicide.

School head. Should take the lead in this situation because he is the highest position in a school,

so what should be investigated by a senior school head is that he starts to conduct to his fellow

teachers about their students is there is a case of bullying. This research can give ideas to school

heads on what solutions he/she can do to prevent bullying on school.

Teachers. Since teachers play an extremely important role in stopping bullying, our research can

contribute a lot to them to effectively object instructions towards students learning needs.

Students. This study about school bullying can give students better understanding about this

issue. They will know how to prevent being bullied on school.

Future Researchers. Bullying research has traditionally been dominated by large scale cohort

studies. These study can help future researchers by providing information or idea and also for

better understanding what bullying really is.

C. LITERATURE REVIEW

According to Berthold & Hoover Slee, Walker, Ramsey & Gresham, “ targets of bullying may

suffer greatly in terms of their social and emotional well-being, become anxious and depressed,

isolate themselves from peer groups and avoid school for fear of being bullied (In Integrating

Bullying Prevention Into School-Wide Positive Behavior Support, p. 48)

D. DEFINITION OF TERMS

School Bullying. School bullying, like bullying outside the school context, refers to one or more

perpetrators who have greater physical strength or more social power than their victim repeatedly

by acting aggressively toward their victim. Bullying can be verbal or physical.

School. A school is an educational institution designed to provide learning spaces and learning

environments for the teaching of students under the direction of teachers. Most countries have

systems of formal education, which is sometimes compulsory. In these systems, students

progress through a series of schools.

School Heads. The school head is the custodian of school values, mission and vision. She/he is a

mentor, who supports staff's professional development and helps them cultivate the most

appropriate behaviours and teaching practices.

School Administrators. School Administrators oversee administrative tasks in schools, colleges

or other educational institutions. They ensure that the organization runs smoothly and they also

manage facilities and staff.

Teachers. A teacher, also called a schoolteacher or formally an educator, is a person who helps

students to acquire knowledge, competence, or virtue, via the practice of teaching. Informally the

role of teacher may be taken on by anyone.

Parents. A parent is a caregiver of the offspring in their own species. In humans, a parent is the

caretaker of a child.
Students. A student is a person enrolled in a school or other educational institution. In the

United Kingdom and most commonwealth countries, a "student" attends a secondary school or

higher; those in primary or elementary schools are "pupils".

Future Researchers. The role of the human researcher in the future will most likely be to clarify

the importance research has to society and in terms of shared human projects – also in disciplines

where the connection of research to topics relevant to human society has so far appeared to be

minimal.

CONCLUSION

Our studies findings indicate that bullying has a negative impact on academic success. To stop

and reduce bullying incidents in school, all stakeholders including parents and school employees

should work cooperatively.

According to the result of our study, bullying has a detrimental effect on academic performance

of students. Bullying cause a negative impact on a students determination to learn which results

in despair, anxiety and trauma.

Bullying is a serious problem that can dramatically affect the ability of students to progress

academically and socially. Victims of bullying are targeted by bullies for a variety of reasons –

from their physical appearance, personal characteristics to their academic performance. A

comprehensive intervention plan that involves all students, parents, and school staff is required

to ensure that all learners can learn in a safe and fear-free environment.
