Notice of the writ petition was issued to the respondents. Reply has been filed by respondent No.8-Guru Jambeshwar University of Science and Technology, Hissar, who has supported the claim of the Petitioners by asserting that the said degree would be equivalent degree for the purpose of treating the candidates possessing the saidC.W.P. No.18693 of 2012 2 degree eligible for consideration for appointment. It has further been Stated that the Post Graduate degree possessed by the petitioners is ‘same and equivalent to M.A. Psychology as the course and the studies are also the same merely the nomenclature varies. A short reply has also been filed on behalf of respondent No.3 wherein it has been stated that the Government has specified that M.Sc. in Applied Psychology is equivalent to M.A. Psychology for higher studies and employment. "In the light of this, counsel for the petitioners states that the claims of the petitioners as made in the writ petition have been accepted. However, he prays for that a direction may be issued to the Haryana School Teachers Selection Board-respondent No.5 to now declare the result of the petitioners, treating them to be eligible, of the interview, which has already been held by them in pursuance to the advertisement and the applications submitted by the petitioners. The prayer made by the counsel for the petitioners is fully Justified and is accepted. Direction is issued to the Haryana School Teachers Selection Board-respondent No.5 to consider the petitioners eligible for appointment to the post of Post Graduate Teachers, Psychology and declare the result of the petitioners along with the other candidates.
