9. Sampling for Chemical Analysis
9.1 The producer may obtein representative samples from
te molten metal during casting, end all or part of these
samples may be east Into shapes suitable for use in spectro-
chemical methoas.
9.2 Ii the zine is in the form of standard slabs at the
customer's plant, the sample for ebemical analysis shall be
taken in accordance with 9.2.1-9.2, inclusive

the battom or brand side of each slab, at vo points located
