No.7272IP7/SHS/2017, dated:29.07 2017. ‘ORDER: The Hon'ble Minister (Health and Family Welfare) has made an announcement on the floor of Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, that two new ‘Nutrition Rehabilitation Centers wil be established at Thirwannamalal and Madurai ‘Medical College Hospitals with 12 Staff Nurses and 3 Nutrition counselors at a cost (of Rs. 18,00 lakh, 2. In Government order 2° read above, orders were issued for establishment ‘of two Nutiion Rehabiliaton Centres at Dharmapuri Government Medical College Hospital and District Headquarters Hospital. Perambalur under National Health ‘Mission as a pilot project. Subsequently, n Government order 3” read above, orders were issued for establishment of Nuttin Rehabiltation Centre under National Health Mission at the Insttute of Child Health and Hospital for Children, Egmore, Chennai 3, The Mission Director, State Health Society has stated that in PIP 2017-18, ‘2 sum of Rs.6.00 lakh has been proposed to establish Nutition Rehabiltation Centres at Thiruvannamalsi, Madurai and Tirunelveli Medical college Hospitals with necessary human resources and in Record of Proceedings 2017-2018, National Programme of Co-ordination Committee of the Government of India has approved Rs. 2.00 lakh for establishment of Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre at Thiruvannamalai Distict and necessary human resources for establishment of Nutrition Rehabilitation ‘Centre at Thiruvannamalai, Madurai and Tirunelveli Medical college Hospitals. RO4. The Mission Director, State Health Society has also stated that the proposal to establish Nutition Rehabilitation Centres at Thiruvannamalai, Madurai and Tirunelveli Medical college Hospitals has been placed in the 33° Executive Committee meeting vide agenda No.39 and the same was approved, 5. The Mission Director, State Health Society has therefore requested Government order inthis regard 6.
