IMPORTANT: Degrease the crankshaft and crankshaft pulley mating faces
Fit the tensioner pulley
Fit the timing belt clockwise, starting at the crankshaft gearwheel
Align the timing marks on the timing belt with the marks on the gearwheels
Engines fitted without eccentric tensioner:
Push the tensioner pulley against the timing belt
Tighten the tensioner pulley nut finger-tight
Remove the crankshaft locking tool (Mot. 1489)
Tension the timing belt with the special tool (Mot. 1501)
Use a torque wrench to adjust the timing belt tension (10 Nm)
Fit the tensioning tool (Mot. 1135-01)
Check that the locking pin can be inserted and removed (Mot. 1489)

Timing belt tensioner:
Engines fitted without eccentric tensioner: (10 Nm)
Engines fitted with eccentric tensioner: (25 Nm)
Tensioner pulley: (50 Nm)
Crankshaft pulley:
Stage 1: (30 Nm)
Stage 2: (100° ± 5°)
Engine support: (A = 62 Nm ; B = 21 Nm ; C = 8 Nm)

Tension gauge: (Mot. 1505 (Mot. 1715))
Engine support bar: (Mot. 1453)
Flywheel locking tool: (Mot. 582-01)
TDC locking pin (Mot. 1489)
Tensioning tool: (Mot. 1501)
