Amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Phenomenological Study in the
Philippines

A Burning Torch

The whole world saw how each country across the globe including
Philippines suffers as we face the onslaught of the pandemic-COVID-19. This
pandemic has brought so many changes in our lives including the new
innovations and adjustments made by the Department of Education.

This problem is not only true to Public School Teachers but also to us
who are in the Private Schools especially private schools like ours which I
considered as a small school.

The pandemic has challenged us to become innovative and creative in

dealing the situations like this. Hence, as educators [we] continue to be a
burning torch to our learners whose hopes and dreams are started to become
subfuscous or gloomy. We continue to learn and to adapt these changes and
demands in the field of education so that we can give what is best to them.
And we will continue to lift our torch as high as we can so that everyone can
see its light.
