ABOUT QuNITe
• QuNITe, the official quiz club of NIT Jamshedpur was
created in 2012, with the vision of pursuing excellence in the
ever-exciting field of quizzing. Since then we’ve been winners
in several national and regional level quizzes. We’re the house
of national champions of the Tata Crucible business quiz,
which is one of the most prestigious quizzes for college
students.
• QuNITe is composed of quizzing enthusiasts with a curiosity
to learn and explore. You might be a complete newbie or a
seasoned quizzer, we are home to both kinds of people. In
fact, most of our members started quizzing only after joining
the institute.And so to introduce your batch to quizzing
culture, we'll be conducting Grand Quizzing Week(GQW)
in a couple of weeks.

 WHAT WE DO ?
• Regular sessions throughout the year on varying genres from Tarak
Mehta to Game of Thrones to Formula-1 to Alcohol quiz and
many more.
• Apart from regular fun sessions, we frequently compete in different
quizzes across the country and in turn get to visit different colleges!
• Grand Quizzing Week(GQW) is a 4-day quizzing extravaganza
solely for the freshers batch with a prize pool of more than ₹10,000.
• Monty Quiz in collaboration with I&AR which is the flagship
quizzing event of our college for students across the country, with a
prize-pool of more than ₹75,000.
• QuNITe Premier League (QPL) is the quiz tournament of our
college, where quizzers are put to auction and the teams battle it out
for the crown.

 ACHIEVEMENTS

• Palak Kumar & Sudeep Saurabh have won National Finals of Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2017. We’ve
been the regional champions of TCCQ several times since its inception!
• Amit Kumar Jha won the "Trivia 2020" in Mood Indigo 2020 held at IIT Bombay.
• Sutej Sharma and Sourav Madanpuri finished at 1st & 3rd position at the National Finals of BrainQuest Quiz
’22 organised by BIMTECH, Noida.
• The team Comprising of Shivayou Pandey, Amritansh Tiwari, Aditya Gupta and Sutej Sharma won the
Inter-NIT Quiz '22 hosted by NIT Durgapur.
• Team of Aman Sourav, Anirban Maity and Shivayou Pandey finished runners up in Ensemble Valhalla
SciBizTech Quiz '22 and team of Anirban Maity, Sourav Madanpuri and Shivayou Pandey finished 2nd
runners up in the General Quiz '22 by XLRI..
• Tarun Anand, Divyanshu Kumar, and Priyanshu Raj won the Pop It Up quiz organised by NIT Jalandhar.

 HOW TO GET INDUCTED?

• We’ll be starting with GQW to give you a flavour of college quizzing,

but your performance in GQW is not at all a factor for inductions.
• After GQW we’ll be creating a Whatsapp group (QuNITe β) and
interested students can join it. In this group everyone can post questions
and others will answer them. We will conduct regular whatsapp quizzes
and offline quizzes too, and after a while you are the ones who are gonna
conduct these sessions on your topic of interest.
• Your induction in QuNITe is solely dependent on your participation and
interest in the QuNITe β activities and sessions.
• QuNITe has always been an open club, and so whether you get inducted
or not you’re a part of QuNITe and are welcome to every session of
ours, even the QuNITe Premier League.
