The British author Joanne Rowling, also known as JK Rowling, is well
known for her Harry Potter series. The first film in the said series was
The Sorcerer's Stone. It dealt with the miserable life of Harry Potter, a
little child who ended up as the chosen one. His family members
treated him differently as if they were not related at all. Despite the
disasters he faced, his life changed because of a single letter that was
delivered by an owl, placed inside an envelope with a red wax stamp.
He then continued his adventure at Hogwarts with Hagrid. He made
many friends who had faith in him and his abilities. The title brought
him family-like friends, but it also brought him, enemies.

I can remember when I first saw this movie. I despised aunt Petunia for
treating Harry like he weren't her sister's kid. I kept wondering how
Harry handled everything. This story taught me many valuable lessons.
One of them is that we exist because of the greater good. We all have a
purpose, just like Harry. We have our own story. It might not be at
Hogwarts with flying brooms and magic potions, but we get to rule it
and decide how it ends. And we can meet friends along the way. It may
be a smart one like Hermione or a loyal red-haired one like Ron
Weasley.

It was great to say that I have rekindled my long-forgotten relationship

with the Harry Potter series. As a child, it served as an inspiration for
me. It is safe to say that it showed me how to be brave and face my
fears.
