Influence of globalization on public institutions and citizen service

In a world influenced by globalization, institutions have had to adopt strategies,


alternatives and changes that allow them to adapt to the market in relation to the needs
and requirements of the population. As a result, public management has undergone the
continuous improvement of processes within the institutions, generating added value in
them. In order to provide quality and warmth goods and services to both internal and
external customers.

In recent years the deficiencies in the relation to the management and


administration of public resources have been notorious with cases of corruption in the
public sector, the lack of innovation, ethics, responsibility and knowledge has led to the
incorrect functioning of institutions.

For this reason, alternatives have emerged that improve the aspects indicated
above, promoting ethics, principles and collective responsibility on the part of public
managers for the benefit of both external and internal client. This makes it possible to
achieve an organizational change from the root, which involves all officials within the
institutions.

Currently, evaluation and results indicators have been implemented in relation to


the objectives and goals established, in order to have control of the activities and
services provided to citizens, thus leading to the implementation of systems and
strategies for continuous that promote the improvement of goods and services generated
in an effective, efficient and timely manner.

The citizenry is the beneficiary agent of this process of change, since the
administration of State resources is oriented towards the sustainable development of the
peoples, focused on the active participation of citizens and the continuous improvement
of processes.
