GENERAL GUIDELINES

● Participants must be currently enrolled (SY 2022-2023 First Semester) in PUP-STB.

● 15 minutes grace period only. The team will automatically default if the contestant
does not show up within the given grace period.

● Participants must ALWAYS wear their assigned color of the shirt. Failure to do so will
result in disqualification.

● All outputs must be sent to the organizer’s email (pupstbcsc@gmail.com)

competition starts.

3. The writer can use any writing style they prefer in creating the essay.

4. The facilitator will give the topic and each contestant is given one (1) hour to finish
their entry.

Competition Guidelines:

1. Maximum of two (2) officially enrolled PUP-STB participants per College Department.

2. The artwork shall be classified into

3. Present at least a time-lapse or a short clip during your work progress.

4. Artwork must be submitted to CSC email (pupstbcsc@gmail.com) on or before


January 23, 2023, including a 2-5 sentence caption. The file must be in JPEG or
PNG format.

BENCH YELL COMPETITION

Competition Guidelines:

1. Maximum of 30 officially enrolled in PUP-STB participants per College Department.

2. The participants shall be present 10 minutes before the competition starts

3. A maximum of three (3) minutes will be given for the length of each yell/performance.

4. The use of drums and other instruments is allowed.

5. Only seated choreographies are allowed. Strictly no switching of seats.

6. Use of a microphone or any sound-enhancing technologies is prohibited.

CALL OF DUTY MOBILE

GENERAL MECHANICS:
1. Players must only use mobile devices and iPad only. Emulators are prohibited.
2. Each team is given ten (10) minutes of waiting time to complete before the match.
Unsuccessful completion of players will be considered default.
3. An officer-in-charge will be one of the spectators.
4. Using VPN, piloting, or whatever form of cheating will result in disqualification.
5. The championship match will be aired live on the official Facebook page of the
organization.

Search and Destroy


1. The tournament will be categorized into one (1) “Search and Destroy”
2. Each team consists of five (5) players and one (1) team per department.

Battle Royale
1. Each team consists of four (4) players and one (1) team per department.
2. Each team is given ten (10) minutes of waiting time to complete before the match.
Unsuccessful completion of players will be considered default.
3. The match will be played via Battle Royal-Private Team.

VIOLATIONS:

- Using of tank and war machine - No Purifier


- No Tempest - No Annihilator

POINTING SYSTEM:
- 1 kill = 1 point
• 1st place = 50 points
• 2nd place = 30 points
• 3rd place = 15 points
• Participation = 5 points
• Violation = minus 10 points(each)

GENERAL CONDUCT

For an orderly and pleasant game, every participant has to behave with respect
towards the officer-in-charge, spectators, and co-players. It is essential that all players have
a sporty and fair attitude. This applies to behavior in-game, likewise in chats. We expect
players to conduct themselves according to the following values: integrity, respect, honesty,
fairness, and an overall general sense of positivity.

PLAYER REQUIREMENTS
● Currently enrolled in PUPSTB and will play under its department.
● Must submit a 2x2 picture and registration certificate of 1st Semester of A.Y. 2022 –
2023.
● Must give their account's name before the game.
MOBILE LEGENDS

GENERAL MECHANICS:
1. Tournament is open to all-female, all-male, or mixed teams.

2. Must consist of 5 main players (1 team) from each department. Maximum of 2


reserve players allowed.

3. Must be on time for the given schedule. Only a 5-minute grace is given on every
match. A team that cannot complete its 5-man team before the grace period ends
automatically loses. (Default)

4. A check-ping match will be held before starting the main game. This is to assure that
the player’s internet connection, prior to the match, is stable.

5. Each team will have two 30-second Technical pauses. The captain shall type “P” to
all so that the spectator can grant the Pause.

6. Once the two 30-second Technical pauses are used, any player disconnects during a
match, and the game continues. The disconnected players are required to reconnect
as soon as possible.

7. Teams are prohibited to replace any of the registered players (including the reserved
player) throughout the event. This goes also for the registered accounts.

8. The pick/ban order will follow the default sequence set in the game. If a team has
picked/banned a hero by mistake, the game will still be continued. There will be no
remakes due to wrong pick/ban.

PLAYER REQUIREMENTS
● Currently enrolled in PUPSTB and will play under its department.
● Must submit a 2x2 picture and registration card/cert of 1st Semester of A.Y. 2022 –
2023.
● Must provide a Team Captain from each team.
● Each player will register his/her ML Acct to be used for the tournament.

GENERAL CONDUCT

● Players will conduct themselves with sportsmanship and in a reasonable manner,


maintaining a friendly and polite demeanor to spectators, competitors, members of
the press, tournament staff, and to other participants of the event.
● Players will refrain from the use of vulgar language during the entire competition. All
rules of conduct also apply to chatting.
● No player shall perform any cheating (Ghosting, Account Sharing, Piloting, etc.) with
regard to match results. If any use of 3rd party tools, hacking tools, or similar actions
is discovered, that squad will be automatically disqualified from the tournament.
● Use of stickers, spamming recalls (TP), and trash-talking are prohibited. Hero Skins
are allowed to be used.
SPOKEN WORD POETRY

GENERAL MECHANICS:
1. The competition is open to all officially enrolled PUPians.

2. Participants are limited up to one (1) per program.

3. The content must be original and must be written in Filipino.

4. The length of the performance must be 3-5 minutes.

5. Use of any form of music is allowed.

6. Soft copy of the poem must be sent together with the entry, which should be
landscape and in mp4 format, on or before January 23, 2023.

8. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd runner-ups will be performing live in the PUP GYM. Winners
will receive an email of invitation.

GENERAL MECHANICS
1. Face-to-Face singing contest, open for boys and girls.

2. Participants are limited up to one (1) per program.

3. All participants are given one genre to perform. The genre is 2000s OPM HITS.

4. The song choice has to be submitted together with the other requirements on or
before January 22, 2023.

5. If by any chance two or more departments have the same song choice, the first one
who submitted that specific song choice would have the right to perform it.

6. Each entry has to be submitted to the organizer's email(pupstbcsc@gmail.com) on or


before January 25, 2023.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING:

VOCAL = 50%
(Vocal Technique, Harmony, Quality, Timing, Articulation, Rhythm, and Tempo)

PERFORMANCE = 40%
(Expression, Impact/Entertainment Value, Presence, Style, and Vibe)

MASTERY = 10%
(Confidence, Song Choice, Mastery of Lyrics, and Diction)

TEAM SPORTS

GENERAL CONDUCT:
● Any player, coach or manager who commits any of the enumerated acts of violence
or unsportsmanlike conduct shall be penalized with a technical foul and or a
suspension in the game depending upon the gravity of the violation/situation.
● Only the team captain on the floor can communicate with the game officials including
table officials regarding technicalities but not judgment calls. However, it should be in
a courteous and calm manner.

GENERAL MECHANICS FOR BASKETBALL (BOYS AND GIRLS)


1. A minimum of five (5) players per department. No required maximum number of
players.
2. Only five (5) players are on the court.
3. There will be four (4) quarters per match. 10 minutes per quarter.
4. Two (2) timeouts will be given to each team per quarter. Two (2) minutes per timeout.
5. Score more than your opponent to win. A team with low points will be eliminated.
6. Official referees will be present to help maintain the standards of the game.
7. Each team will be given ten (10) minutes of waiting time to complete before the
match. Unsuccessful completion of players will be considered default.

GENERAL MECHANICS FOR VOLLEYBALL (BOYS AND GIRLS)


1. A minimum of five (6) players per department. No required maximum number of
players.
2. Only five (6) players are on the court.
3. Rally scoring will be used. The first to win two (2) sets in a three (3) sets round will
win the game.
4. Official referees will be present to help maintain the standards of the game.
5. Games will be played for up to 25 points per set.
