1. EQUIPMENT ACCESSORIES AND OZONE PRODUCTS

1.1 Standard One Coat Painting System
1.1.1 This paint system has been developed in conjunction with an accredited Powdercoater and is
applied to all MillMast Liner Handlers and selected THUNDERBOLT Equipment components.
1.1.2 Final quality checking of the paint system is undertaken in accordance with the relevant
parts of Australian Standard (AS) 3984.2 – Site Testing of Protective Coatings.
1.1.3 RME is in consultation with Dulux on a regular basis to ensure that this system is the most
suitable for the varied environments that these products are operated in.

PREPARATION
Grit blast to AS1627 Part 4 Class 2-1/2 (‘near white’ finish) 30-50µm profile

UNDERCOAT

Dulux - Zincshield 2 - Minimum 50μm Thickness

TOPCOAT
AKZO Nobel / Interpon Powder - Safety Yellow Gloss 610 – Thickness 80-90μm

COLOUR SCHEME
RME’s standard colours for the MillMast and THUNDERBOLT Equipment are
Australian Standards Colours related to the particular product and / or group
