Please quote your lowest rates for the supply of Arterial Blood Gas Analyzer
(ABG) – 1 No. as per the list given overleaf, subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Rates should be quoted only for the items which are available in stock and can be supplied
immediately on receipt of order.
2. Only GST / IGST is applicable
3. No insurance charges are payable as per the rules in the Government. As such, the firms before
quoting should take into consideration all the risks in the transit and then furnish limited tender
which should cover insurance charges also. If any point is raised as regards insurance charges after
orders are issued, the same will not be entertained and the firms thereafter should affect the supply
at their own cost.
4. Rates should be quoted F.O.R Pondicherry/ CIF Chennai airport. Extra packing, forwarding charges etc.
should not be quoted.
5. Delivery is required urgently. Tenders should state the guaranteed delivery period they can offer. As
the delivery date is the essence of the contract, this should be strictly adhered to by the successful
tender.
6. No supply, which is not according to the specifications and not meeting our requirement, will be
accepted.
7. The director shall have the right of rejecting the limited tender in whole or part without
assigning any reason thereof.
8. In case of high precision instruments the firms should give a guarantee certificate for their
satisfactory performance.
9. Limited tender should be sent only by posting. Hand quotations are not accepted.
10. Brand name, Model as applicable is to be mentioned for every item quoted.

Technical Specification for Arterial Blood Gas Analyzer(ABG)

1. The unit should be ready to use it at anytime and anywhere.

2. The unit should be based on Dry chemistry and the measurement Principle should be of
Potensiometeric ,Ampherometeric and Conductometric Technology.

3. The system should have Disposable Cartridge / Cassette

4. The System should provide Blood gas, Electrolyte, Metabolite and Hematocrit
Measured Parameter : pH, pCO2, pO2, Na+, K+, Ca++, Glu, Hct, Lac,Crea,Chloride,
Calculated Parameter: cHCO3-, cTCO2, BE(ecf),BE(b), cSO2 cHgb,eGFR,Anion Gap,AGapK

5. The results should be available after analysis within 30 seconds which can be seen on the TFT
Screen with Printout.

6. The systems should have rechargeable battery back up a minimum of 8 Hours for using it in
ambulance or anywhere in the hospital premises lie in OT/ICU/Wards.

7. The cartridges should have shelf life of a minimum of 3 months which should be stored at room
temperature.

8. Should have built in automated integrated calibration and Quality check, without the use of any
reagents,

9. The system should be Maintenance free, without any Hidden charges, Room temperature test
card storage ,Critical result reporting with Reference Values, Wireless Data capture and
Transmission, Patient ID bar coding system,

10. Should have capability to store minimum of 2000 Blood Gas Analysis readings and able to
display on demand.

11. To supply 100 nos. catridges free of cost along with the machine.

12. The product should have the Standard certificate of FDA Approval with CE Mark.

13. Should have 3 years on‐site comprehensive warranty for all components and provision of
Annual Maintenance Contract for the next 5 years.
