the development of the story is based on how Karen begins a friendship with Vanessa, a new girl in

the neighborhood, Karen and Vanessa start going out to play but Vane has friends with different
tastes and Karen doesn't like that because they do things that she doesn't like it, also, Vanessa
encourages Karen to skip school, and they do so for days until the teacher begins to notice Karen's
absences too many, calls her mother and asks what is happening, but her mother, Sandy, does not
knows nothing about it. So when her mother asks what's going on and why she's not going to
school, Karen decides to be honest with her mother.

I decided to make a book based on the lack of honesty, better known as lying and also on the fact
that we have to be careful with those we call friends, many times it can be difficult for children to
learn to differentiate between a good or a bad friend, and it is well, it's part of the learning
process, but they need to learn to differentiate it and that sometimes not all friendships are good,
also, as you can see, Karen stops attending school to go with her friend, Vanessa, she starts to lie
to his mother when he says he goes to school.
