General
The project “A hope in the future” of the Center for nontraditional rehabilitation,
bio food and social inclusion for the most vulnerable category of society, developed
because of the ideas and experience arising out of the undertaken activities for a long time
by the project initiator.
In 2002, Mrs. Ana AFTENII, being the administrator of 24/24 hour grocery store,
that was situated near the municipal hospital Nr1, from Chisinau City, where the flow of
people was big and orphan children and homeless found a place of refuge in the
underground passage near the store. After a long monitoring their actions caused her to
provide free clothing, food, support to identity documents and even lodging.
As a result of these acts of charity has created the community association,
Association of Adolescents orphans and lonely elderly "MIRACLE" (22.06.2011 and
is registered in State Register of Non-Profit Organizations nr. 05/4868),which so far has
initiated and developed individually and through collaboration with the company
"Business SRL" and numerous successful volunteer projects (Materials are attached,
Annex 1).
Center that is applied in this project, is in the Municipal Hospital Nr. 1 in Chisinau,
has already special arranged place both from own resources and in partnership with the
company "Business SRL", which will be made available to those who are interested.
These rooms were rearranged by general renovation based on acts of charity, but for
maintaining the continuity of charity activities needs cooperation and more investment.
Nontraditional concept for rehabilitation, bio food and social inclusion for the most
vulnerable of society is relatively new for Moldova because it’s instability does not favor
the development of such practices. Despite the increase in the percentage of people with
disabilities (2.7% in the last 5 years) and older (13.6% of Moldova's population) in
Moldova there are no nontraditional rehabilitation centers for people with disabilities.
The project "A Hope in the future", will also stimulate the local authorities and
other ONG’s to launch similar projects in other parts of Moldova and coordinate how such
an institution should be organized to meet the needs of people with disabilities and the
elderly to ensure their healthy physical and mental development through Nontraditional
rehabilitation activities, healthy nutrition, psychological assistance and a decent life.

2. Project description
2.1 The problem approach
Categories of vulnerable people (orphans, abandoned, deprived of parental care,
children from disadvantaged families, children, youth and adults with disabilities,
homeless children, the lonely and helpless elderly) - due to political and economic
instability that has in recent years Republic Moldova, led to the involuntary ignorance of
the respective category from all points of view (create conditions for rehabilitation,
training and socialization).
Although the government's policy towards vulnerable populations proves to be
positive, they continue to live in conditions of poverty and marginalization / exclusion
because it is directly influenced by the situation in the country: economic decline, low
investment due to political instability and the presence of vast of shadow economy.
Public institutions of specialized education, are in a small number, with limited
access for people with special needs, practical activities that are addresses to the given
institutions are oriented to providing superficial support but not of the social /
professional inclusion, does not give personalized support. So it is obvious that the
education system is not adapted to include education / professional training certain /
various disadvantaged groups and not even respond to the expectations and needs of
beneficiaries.
The degree of disability pension still remains minimal covering a fifth of the
monthly consumption basket. Public institutions such as hospitals, where this target group
should receive free services, do not have equipment, stocks and motivated staff (their
salaries are also very low). It is also worth mentioning that according to the new legal
provisions that are to be debated at the government, hospitals in Chisinau, are to be
significantly reduced.
Therefore, the "A hope in the future" Centre for rehabilitation, nontraditional
recovery, bio food, social inclusion, through its personalized service, comes to help
society to ensure equal and non-discriminatory education, social inclusion, nontraditional
rehabilitation method "Ţigun" (Chinese millennial method with the slogan "There isn’t
incurable disease"), healthy nutrition and psychological support, thus completing the state
absences in those areas.

Center for nontraditional rehabilitation, bio food, social inclusion guarantees

successful results through concrete case of the developer (Mrs. Ana AFTENII), after a
tragic accident suffered trauma to the vertebral column, creating severe and acute
complications, she was diagnosed countless, variously and incorrectly. After an ineffective
medical treatment, ingravescence health and advanced demoralization led her to study
deeply and practicing daily rehabilitation methods of health by nontraditional methods
given by therapy "Ţigun" - an experience millennial of specialists from China, which
includes Therapeutic exercise, deep breathing outdoors (in nature), massage and infrared
sauna is combined with a healthy diet and natural remedies. These practical efficient
methods, resulting in improved , noticeable health status, which gave the result that for 20
years Mrs. Ana AFTENII, not to attend the doctor, as proof the medical record.
