Factor Analysis and Factor Rotation

Total Variance explained

The cumulative variance explained by the factor is 70.53% which is greater than the minimum
requirement of 60% cumulative variance.

The Eigenvalues for the four different Components are 11.26, 1.35, 1.15, 1.03 respectively.

A total of 4 factors obtained in the analysis.

Rotated Component Matrix

 Total of 8 IVs have high loading on the factor one (UNDRSTD1, UNDRSTD2, UNDRSTD3,
TIME2, IMG1, IMG2, IMG3 AND VIS1). So, we can name this factor as Performance Factor.

 Factor 2 contains 5 high loading variables INFO1, INFO2, INFO3, INTER1 and ALT1. So, we can
name This factor as Detail Factor.

 Factor 3 consist of two high loading factor that is INNOV1 AND INNOV3. Hence, we can
name it as Innovative factor.

 The last and the fourth factor consist of a single high loading variable that is INNOV2. We can
name this factor as Creativity Factor.

 TIME1, INTER2 AND INTER3 doesn’t have the high loading in any of the factors so for there
categorization we will compare their relative loading values in different factors. TIME1 will
be part of Factor 1, INTER2 will be of Factor 2 and INTER3 goes to Factor 3.
