Technicool Systems TCS-P-A-VO01GS-GP-120NO000C-ROS2-FHGA Manual of Operation Revision 1.1 Page 4 General Unit Information ‘SEQUENCE OF OPERATION AIR CONDITIONING During normal operation, the thermostat reads the room temperature. In cooling mode, once the room temperature reaches the temperature set-point plus two degrees, the thermostat outputs to the blower motor, outdoor fan motor, and the compressors. These remain activated until the room temperature reaches the temperature set-point minus two degrees. COMPRESSOR CONTROL The compressor is protected from short cycle by an, on-delay timer. If control power breaks, the on-delay timer will prevent the compressors from turning on for a period of three to five minutes. Technicool Systems TCS-P-A-V01GS-GP-120N000C-R0S2-FHGA HIGH PRESSURE AND LOW PRESSURE SWITCHES The unit is protected by refrigerant high pressure and low pressure switches. If the refrigeration lines have a pressure higher or lower than the threshold, the compressors will be disabled to protect the unit. PRESSURE SERVICE PORTS High and low pressure service ports are installed on all units so that the system operating pressures can be checked. PHASE MONITOR This unit contains a phase monitor for phase reversal, phase loss, and unbalanced phase. If the incoming phase is incorrect, the unit will not function Manual of Operation Revision 1.1 Page 5 General Unit Information PERIODIC MAINTENANCE Periodic maintenance must be conducted on your system to insure maximum and proper performance, especially during peak operating periods and conditions. Keep the air filters clean and recognizing the If the unit is equipped with the enhanced control option, the unit has a Siemens PLC and touch screen installed, TOUCH SCREEN INTERFACE CONTROL The control section of the touch screen contains the ability to change the temperature set-point, as well as importance of clean outdoor coils are key elements to the air conditioning and pressurization fan operating maintaining proper performance. Be sure to change air filters at least monthly. The condensate drain system must be kept open and free to convey the condensate generated by the operation of the unit. Make sure that the outdoor coils are clean and are not blocked with any foreign matter or otherwise restricted with any growth or other items. Frequent, cleaning of the outdoor coils using a water hose or pressured air will help maintain the integrity of the unit, DO NOT FORGET TO REMOVE POWER FROM. THE UNIT BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO CLEAN THE COILS WITH WATER. The unit should have periodic inspections made by a trained professional, who has the experience, knowledge, training, licensing, certifications, and the necessary tool and equipment required to do these tasks properly and in accordance with approved or modes. Also contained on this page are the current room temperature and the pressure differential out- puts DIAGNOSTICS On the diagnostics screen, useful information for diagnosing air conditioning problems can be found. Included are the room, supply, and return tempera- tures, along with the blower and condenser fan motor currents, STATUS The status screen shows the current output status of the various parts of the unit. This can be useful for identifying problems with your unit if the output sta- tus does not match the actual status of the unit. ALARMS mandated procedures. The inspection should be doneThe alarms page shows the internal troubleshooting annually at minimum. Proper and routine maintenance and service will protect the unit and avoid disruption in building operation, Technicool Systems TCS-P-A-V01GS-GP-120N000C-R0S2-FHGA alarms of the unit. These alarms are written in human- readable language that can be very helpful in deter- mining any problems the unit may have. INFO This screen contains our contact information.
