To whom it may concern,

My name is Greyson Nichols and I am a junior at Latitude High School. My school's philosophy
is “The City Is Our Classroom”, so we are encouraged to pursue real world internships. I am
deeply interested in renewable energy and batteries are an incredibly important part of
renewable energy. This is why I would love the opportunity to intern at Our Next Energy.

I first learned about renewable energy in a class I took about smart power. I realized the severity
and inevitability of climate change and I found out the Bay Area could be underwater as soon as
2050. This motivated me to start researching different solutions to climate change. This was
when I first came across the idea of renewable energy. I was intrigued by the fact that there
were energy sources that were both good for the environment and could actually sustain the
human population.

I will be given 4 weeks of no school to completely dedicate myself to an internship from Friday,
April 11 to Friday, May 11. I am happy to come in any time of the day, all days of the week.

I would be honored to intern at Our Next Energy. I have attached my resume for you to review. If
you would like more information, you can email me or my internship advisor Mike Cellemme at
michael.cellemme@latitudehigh.org.

Sincerely,

Greyson Nichols
