Two great spiritual forces in the world (1) Kingdom of God God's Spirit His good angels. Hebrews 1:7. Children of God — the men in whom the seed of Christ is born. (2) Kingdom of the Devil (Luke 11:14~20) ‘The Devil's spirit His fallen angels — spirits (daimdn and daimonion). Revelation 12:14 — especially verse 4. Children of the Devil — the men in whom the seed of the serpent is born. b, The First Heaven and Earth. AL the time of Genesis 1:1 when God created the heavens and the earth He created angels also called spirits, messengers, or staré. All theee created spirits were under three Heads: Lucifer, Gabriel, Michael. (1) Lucifer was the one assigned the greatest responsibility. He was next to God in authority and power. Isaiah 14:12 literally reads, “O Lucifer, 0 Morning Star.” Ezekiel 28:14. (2) Gabriel as God's created spirit ruler was and still is His special messenger carrier. Luke 1:19,26; Daniel 8:16; and Daniel 9:21. (3) Michael's major assignment is to stand for God’s children and to fight against anyone and anything that attacks them, Daniel 12:La; Daniel 10:13,21; Jude 9; Revelation 12:7. ¢. The beauty and fall of Lucifer. Ezekiel 26:17; Isaiah 14:12b, (1) Jesus became the Bright and Morning Star. Revelation 22:163 I Corinthians 15:27,20. (2) Genesis jevelation 12:9; Ezekiel 28:11—19; Isaiah 14:12—17 (verse 13 literally reads, “I will exalt my throne above the star, GOD ... GOD is Top Star.) (Notice the “I wills” in verse 13, spirits have a will.) Romans 8:22. (3) Genesis 1:2. In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth He did not create them tohu va bohu but they became without form and void, tohu va bohu, Isaiah 45:18; Jeremiah 4:23; Revelation 12:4. The “east down” are devil spirits. There is only one commander-in-chief of all devils and that one’s name is the Adversary. Revelation 12:7. 2. Motives and Methods a. The Devil's primary motive was and is to be like the Most High as God, His co-equal and to sit on God's throne getting people to worship him in place of the true God. Isaiah 14:14, Genesis 3:55 IT Thessalonians 2:4,8,9; Luke Another motive is to hinder the purposes of God. For example, in the first heaven and carth he was second in command to God only. In the second heaven and carth he gained dominion of the world from Adam. His defeat of God in the dominion of the univeree would have been eternal had he destroyed the believers line. For example, during the flood, David's sons, and by killing the Christ. He has tried to defeat as many people as possible since from Genesis 3-15 until the resurrection of Christ, the Devil has had a chance of achieving eternal defeat of God. But with the resurrection of Christ, he eternally became a born loser. b. Before Christ’s coming, the Devil concealed himself and his snare. However, when Christ came he exposed that snare. Luke 10:17—24; I] Timothy 2:26; Colossians 2:15. Since then the Devil has again tried to re-conceal himself. For example, the dark ages and the age of enlightenment. (1) THE VALUE AND DELUSION OF THE COUNTERFEIT 1S INCREASED BY ITS NEARNESS TO THE LIKENESS OF THE GENUINE. Everything God has done the Devil tries to counterfeit. He is in no way original. He may be a good cause but not the true God’s best cause. (2) THE SECRET TO HIS SUCCESS IS THE SECRECY OF IIIS MOVES. The less people know about the Devil and his hosts operating within his snare, the more valuable the counterfeit is to him. (3) He always adapts his methods to the times and conditions (4) He is para: in nature, he uses enough good to satisfy hunger but any good his hosts utilize must be paid for in terms of bad. One or more may do the possessing. This word daimonion is the word that so many translate into English as demon. This in itself a trick of Satan to translate daimonion as demons because it sounds less evil, less harsh, than devil. Matthew 9:33; 17:18. Daimén does not mean the devil, the diabolos, but a ruling or controlling devil spirit like a five star general — not the commander-in-chief. But under Satan or the Devil come many ranks of spirits until one gets down to buck-privates spiritually speaking. Revelation 16:14; 18:2. INTRODUCTION TO THE IMPARTATION MANIFESTATIONS Faith (Believing), Workings of Miracles and Gifts of Healings are the action, power and imparta- tion manifestations of the holy spirit. These are the application (action) of the revelation manifes- tations producing the desired reaults. The absence of Believing, Miracles and Healings in the Church has caused people to doubt, and rightly so, the veracity and truth of God's Word. When it comes to these manifestations the spiritual darkness has been gross; however, come light has been and is dawning, but we need to go much further than has been gone thus far. Operation of these manifestations has been too much by the senses, and with far too much trial and error. ‘These manifestations are the power of God in you, the believer, which will defeat the works of the Devil. Acts 10:38. They are especially used in the lives of faithful ministers of The Word by confirming their words, Mark 16:17,18, and especially verse 20. Acts 15:32; Hebrews 2:3,4. They are for the building of believing in both the believers and unbelievers. John 5:36; 10:25; 14:12; Acts 8:6. 25 A, BELIEVING What It Is Not: 1. James 2:26; Romans 12:3. 12. Itis not performing of mirac ‘The manifestation of Believing ceases when the result is manifested, What It Is: ‘The manifestation of Believing is your operation of the God-given ability whereby you may believe to bring to pass the impossible at your command according to what God has revealed to you by Word of Knowledge, Word of Wisdom and Discerning of Spirits. It also inspires believing in others. It is special renewed mind believing according to.the revelation of Word of Knowledge, Word of Wisdom, and Discerning of Spirits. It is for the deliverance of believers. It is for signs, miracles and wonders that cause the unbeliever to believe. It is the knowing aware- ness within you that at your command it will come to pass. ‘The manifestation of believing in operation is believing for miracles before they are manifested. (‘The manifestation of Miracles in operation works miracles.) 26 BELIEVING Results follow in all instances where the manifestation of Believing is in action. L 10. u 12. 13. 14. 15. It blesses God's people and glorifies God's Name. Mark 2:12; Matthew 15:31. Ibis for all. 1 Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:16,17; 10:1. On this subject many people act as if God did not mean what He said in His Word, or He did not know enough to say or have said what He meant Some people talk about sickness and disease as if God were the author of them, Some suggest that sickness and discase are to keep us humble before God. There was no sickness or disease before sin was manifested; thercforc, sin came with the Devil and man’s acceptance of the Devil’s lic brought sickness and diseace into evidence. Those who talk about graciously, humbly and happily accepting your sickness and disease as of God, and suggest “suffering your way to heaven" are gratified only as long as itis you that is sick and not they. If it were God's will not to heal, He would have Lo revamp His entire Kingdom and redesign the human body, for the basic nature of the human body is always to heal itsclf if the cause is removed, and many times in spite of the cause (splinter, T.B.). Sickness is death in part or in whole. Healing is life in part or in whole as the need requires. 31 GIFTS OF HEALINGS Seven Redemptive Names for God. Compare Isaiah 35:5. 8 Gentiles and Samaritans, Matthew 10:5,15. 32 According to Matthew 10:8 Jesus Christ called upon the Apostles and disciples to “heal the sick.” If we are to fulfill our mission we must have a proper concept of healing. We need to know what healing is and what it means. 1, To Heal means to restore to health. a, No cause to cast out. Must have had health at one time or it could not be restored. Implies they have lost health, been robbed of it. It implies progression of recovery. This may take time, Mark 16:18. Rules out cripple at temple gate. b. Jesus healed all? (Who did it?) Bring back together that which has been separated, severed, or moved apart. To make into perfect oneness. In Healing we ascertain the cauec never diagnose it. Doctors diagnose — we — neve ‘The nature of the Body is to heal, if and when the cause is removed. All the manifestations of the spirit must be exercised for the healing of one thing only. CONCLUSION: God has given us tools to do the job. The doing, therefore, is our task and respon- sibility and privilege, according to our believing by the power of God within us. Ephesians 3:20, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” “... such as T have give I thee,...” Acts 3:6. “And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people;...” Acts 5:12. “... did great won- ders and miracles among the people,” Acts 6:8. “Multitude saw ... glorified God, which had given ‘such power unto men.” Matthew 9:8.
