Invitation of participation to Process Simulation Competition (PSICO) and Safety

Competition (SAFECOM).

We, the organizing committee of the Process Engineering Series of Events 2021
(POISE 2021) cordially invite you to participate in PSICO and SAFECOM 2021.

POISE 2021 (Process Engineering Series of Events 2021), the prodigious platform
which provides opportunities for college and high school students to show their
innovations and talents up through the competitive atmosphere. Another purpose is to
let the college students acknowledge the world of work in the industrial fields especially
for the Chemical Engineering works. POISE 2021 offers varied events including
webinars and various competitions aimed for Worldwide undergraduate students such
as Process Simulation Competition (PSICO) and Safety Competition
(SAFECOM).

PSICO is a competition in the field of simulation process competition. In this

competition, participants should give analysis and recommendation on the problem that
happened in some units in industry using process simulation software so that the
industry can develop to be a more sustainable industry. The theme of this competition
is Applicating Green Industry Culture in The Energy Industry for Sustainability
Purpose.

The competition date and details are as follows:

• Registration : May 1st – June 15th, 2021
• Abstract Submission : May 1st – June 15th, 2021
• Full Paper Submission : July 20th - September 18th, 2021
• Final Round : November 26th, 2021
SAFECOM aims to sharpen a student’s ability to analyze and solve safety problems,
either for real or fictional industrial cases. Safety analysis including mitigation and
recommendation for a problem that stated previously. The theme of this competition is
Challenge in Green Industry for Sustainable Nickel Industry.

The competition date and details are as follows:

• Registration : May 1st – June 15th, 2021
• Abstract Submission : May 1st – June 15th, 2021
• Full Paper Submission : July 20th - September 18th, 2021
• Final Round : November 26th, 2021
