ACTIVITY 1

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

By assisting the community in creating a plan to address a current issue and educating the population on how to
oversee the program's future development, the Lorma Colleges, College of Nursing, will be able to transform the
underprivileged, helpless, and underserved barangay into a dynamic, participatory, and supportive community.
Additionally, the community will become more aware of and sensitive to the current circumstances that have a negative
impact on their health. This activity will also give exceptional learning opportunities to nursing students who will conduct
and implement certain projects or tasks.
PRE-ENTRY SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE

 To conduct an initial survey on the area and identify problems encountered by the local council.
 To make a community diagnosis as a basis for the intended plan of activities.
 To gain cooperation with the local councils during the implementation phase by setting up a meeting with the
barangay officials, local leaders, and other stakeholders of health.

ENTRY SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE

 To present a plan of activities for approval and modification of key officials.

 To conduct information campaign about HDRP (Health Resources Development Program).
 To identify potential leaders in the barangay.


ORGANIZATION BUILDING SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE

 To conduct a symposium regarding the intended plan of activities with the support and guidance of the barangay
healthcare team.
 To train the elected leaders with the aim to develop their leadership skills in the management of their own
concerns and programs.
 To share knowledge with the aim to correct those myths and misconceptions that the community people have
been practicing for a long time through health teachings and education to population groups.
 SUSTENANCE AND STRENGTHENING SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE

 To evaluate the effectiveness of the programs implemented.

 To establish and assist for the enhancement of the organization that the community members actively
participated.

PHASE -OUT SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE

 To evaluate the chosen community if they can standalone and can be self-reliant without the help of the
organizing team and if they were able to acquire and develop skills and potentials.
