Center for Training & Development (CTD)

Port City International University has introduced the faculty training and development program
organized by the Center for Training & Development (CTD), under the banner of Institutional
Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) from the very beginning. CTD aims at providing a platform of
perfect training with a view to ensuring excellence in higher education by quality teaching. CTD
arranges periodical training sessions for preparing the newly joined faculty members prepared
for the classroom challenges. It provides a training session on Impact Raking of Higher
Education Institution, Interactive Teaching Techniques, Research Techniques & Methods,
Effective Teaching, and Academic & Administrative Rules at PCIU, Effective Class Room
Management, and Examination Policy of the University. Prominent resource personnel delivered
their lecturers on the quality and various strategies of teaching to inspire and train the new
appointed faculties. The five-day training program is inaugurated by the honorable vice
chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Nurul Anwar and is concluded with a ceremony of certificate hand-over
to the trainee .
