1. CLASS GUIDE SUMMARY

The class guide is very complete, reading the topics that we will see in
class we will surely learn a lot about environmental design. The objective
of the course is very interesting, I am sure that by the end of the
semester we will learn a lot from this class. The activities that most
caught my attention, from the first partial Climate change concept, origin
and distinction with "global warming". Greenhouse effect, and greenhouse
gases. Energy, transport and architecture; the issue of climate change
draws my attention a lot, as architects we can make a change. From the
second part, Solar impact on buildings. Solar incidence, solar graph; The
issue of solar impact is very interesting. Natural light can reduce a lot of
energy used in buildings. And finally, the third part is already quite small,
SUSTAINABLE technologies, materials and vegetable palette; We must
take sustainable materials into account when building.
ACTIVITY

2. 3 DEFINITIONS OF ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN

1. Environmental design is a process for designing sustainable products

that reduce environmental impact.
2. A process that addresses environmental issues when developing
buildings in order to reduce the impact on the climate.
3. Environmental design studies the relationships we have with the
built and natural environments, and the ways in which human
interactions affect the surrounding environment.
