. tc ttt in1, FEATURES:
High sensitivity, 30,000 chms/V minimizes the loading effect to
the circuit under test.
Wide coverage of measuring ranges.
Clear plastic dial covering for easy and accur:
measuring,
2. CAUTIONS:
Before using, confirm the position of the selector switch and
the range to be used. If voltage is measured on current or
resistar ge, the meter will be damaged
At the time of measurement, choose on appropriate range. For
dry cell should be checked on DC 12V range, and
hel ns accurate reading.
ft halt 0 lines for accurate measurement.
read the indication
In measuring ols ¢ start with the
highest range no Jue, then reset the
selector switch to a lower rang 1 rate reading.
DO NOT check the fen voitage or current is present
in the circuit
‘Avoid placing the tester where severe vibration is encountered or
in extreme temperature or moisture.
When the tester’ is Kept unused for @ long time, take out the
batteries and turn the switch from time to times

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
Zero Adjustment: Before measurement, confirm the pointer of
the meter movement te be on zero position on the left extremity
of
scales, If it is off the position, it is adjusted by turning
right and left the screw jsut below the scale window, This
adjustment is not necessary to be repeated at every measurement,
but the pointer may shift in sudden change of atmospheric
temperature or moisture
Measurement of DC Voltage
Connect the black test lead prod to the negative side and thered
test lead prod is applied to the check point. This is net appliesble
to measurement of voltage at beth ends of a resistor (voltage éreP)
Measurement of AC Voltage
Read the value on the red scale designated “AC” for 6V only. and
all others are measured in the same way as DG voltage measurement’
7DC voltage (such as found on the primary side of an audio output
transformer), insert the shorter tips of the test leads into the (—)
COM and OUT terminals, An internal isolating capacitor blocks
DC from entering the meter.
Measurement of DC Current
When measuring DC current, the circuit to measure is first opened
and the tester is connected in series in between. The scale to use
is common with DC voltage measurement.
Measurement of Resistance
Depending on the resistance value, either X1, X10, X100, X1K range
is used. X1 range measures from 1 ohm to 8Kohm, 10 times on X10,
100 times on X100 and one thousand times on X1K range.
The selector switch is turned to the range to be used, Prods of the
test leads connected to the tester are shorted together, when the
pointer deflects toward right near to the ohm scale end. Turning
OHMS ADJ. control, let the pointer rest exactly on 0 ohm position.
Then, unshort the prods enc apply across the resistance to be
measured. 3
. Measurement of Decibel
Unless input—output comparison measurement is being made on a
device presenting both a 6002 input impedance and a 6002 output
impedance, only differences in db scale readings are significant and
then only for voltage levels comparison. Across 60082, the readings
are in dbm, which are actual power values, (The zero reference level
used for the db scale is Imw or 0.775 volt across 60082.)Dov }
