Introduction
Resturant industry is constantly evolving with the passage of time. The growth this industry has
shown has been beyond remarkable. With the exponential increase in population and people
opting for a dinner at restaurants have made restaurants to be profitable throughout.

Arcadians Café is a prime example of what an elegant Resturant looks like. With an exquisite
menu and phenomenal taste. The Resturant has made a name for itself in the culinary arena.
Arcadians’ café started with only 1 of its franchise, which was located on the MMAlam road.
With the growth in demand, they expanded their operations to over 4 branches in Lahore. Each
in different area to cater the needs of the people. Arcadians is not only loved for its food, but also
for the variety of drinks they offer. They have set up a bar with different lattes, mocktail and
other drinks available.

To increase the customer base they also have the facility to online order through the official
website or through any other food delivery app.

Discussion
Resturant industry have seen various changes for over a decade. The evolution of Resturant
industry has helped it to expand on a humongous level. In the old times the lack of technology to
any business became a hindrance in the progress. In the evolution of the restaurants, technology
has played its part. In the current times the advancement in technology helps the management as
well as the customers to be have almost the perfect knowledge and increase the efficiency from
making a reserving to paying off the bill. Secondly a noticeable change is that the customers
visiting restaurants are more proficient than any other time in recent memory about whatever is
occurring in your eatery. Supporters presently see considerably more about how much food
really costs, the nature of the produce, what they ought to be paying for a dinner and are bound
to have conclusions on your elaborate options, for example, stylistic layout. The commonplace
client's sense of taste is considerably more different and alright with mixes of flavors that would
have been saved for the tip top a long time back.
Through time, restaurants have become more open to have female staff. Opting for female staff
have not only boosted the image but has also ensured greater efficiency. In the recent years the
ratio of people opting for going out had tremendously increased. People now think that going out
make them look “savvy”, therefore the opt for going out. There are some of the factors that have
evolved over the passage of time, preferably 10 years.

(Our History, 2022) Arcadians’ café, entered the Resturant industry about 7 years back. They
started off with one branch that was on MMAlam road. They are concerned about every dish that
this the table, therefor they have designed their menu in such a way that only best food is offered.
There menu contains a combination of different cuisines such as the Asian-fusion, Continental,
and French-Italian. To make the experience more worthwhile for the customer they have a 360-
degree bar through the restaurant where customers can choose between various varieties of
mocktails, soda’s, latte and juices. The team at the backend works constantly to make the
experience a pleasant one. There menu keep on being updating after some time, with unique and
new dishes to be added each time. From last year onwards, many novelty dishes were Red
Dragon Chicken, Prawns, Weaveball Prawns, Stuffed Chicken butter with Spicy Sauce, Basil
Leaf Chicken, Feng Shui, 3 Cheese Chicken. These additions to their royale existing menu are
among the most ordered dishes by the customers. There red dragon chicken falls under the Asian
cuisine. The chicken and veggies are stirred in a spicy red sauce that gives it a spicy and hot
touch. The dish is served with a side of rice of the customer’s choice. This dish is a unique one in
comparison to its taste. Another signature dish of theirs is their butter stuffed chicken. There are
a lot of cafes and restaurants in Lahore that offer stuff chicken but what makes Arcadians take
the edge is their fillings. The stuff chicken is filled with cheese and mushrooms along with a
different blend of light spices. There are some of the techniques and recipe changes while
preparing food that makes arcadians to be a loved café among the people. With most of the
restaurants in Lahore only offer simple chairs to sit, Arcadians have designed there seating in
such a way to make it more comfortable for the customer.

Today, Asian combination cuisines are a must-attempt place in essentially every city. Asian
combination eateries are where the kinds of customary styles of Asian cooking are blended in
with different styles of food to make new dishes and for individuals to attempt. All over the
world pan Asian is becoming the new favorite of people and a safe food option for people to try
while visiting new restaurants. Arcadians offer a wide variety of such cosines. There famous
ones are the reg dragon chicken along with a choice of rice, white or sticky and another of their
popular dish is the samurai chicken. Both of these dishes have a unique exquisite taste. A unique
blend of spices and perfectly coordinated with the other ingredients makes this cuisine one of the
most favorite at Arcadians. (Farrer, 2021) talks about the ancient times and narrates that how the
Asian spices became the main ingredients in the food, especially in Rome. Asia's worldwide
metropolitan cross breed foods of Asia's worldwide urban communities are currently images of a
certain cosmopolitan innovation. In Asian urban communities, as in the West, global culinary
societies are new articulations of a common standpoint and cosmopolitan complexity. Arcadians
give the Asian cuisine a unique and delicate touch of spices to enhance the taste more, since
many people in Pakistan like there foods to be spicy.

(Rana, 2017) Culinary expert Irfan tells us, "Mainland food is something arranged in the landmass
of Europe. Basically, you won't see Chinese and Indian cooking styles in a Continental platter,
simply Mediterranean and French food. Arcadians have rich variety when it comes to the
continental cuisine. This is the all-time favorite cuisine for kids and elders. They offer a unique
kid’s menu in which most of the items are from the continental cuisines such as the wraps,
noodles etc. In addition to that their sizzlers and shashlik are among the top ordered dishes by
the customers. There prawn noodles are a delicacy and loved by all of their customers. The
culinary experts at Arcadians leave no gap when it comes to making a normal dish look
appetizing and perfect. Shashlik all over the world is served with a portion of rice, same is for
Arcadians but the unique point again is their sophisticated presentation along with the unique
taste.

Arcadians also have space on their menu for the Italian cuisine. Some of their most popular
dishes from this category are their prawn spaghetti, deep fried lasagna, and their chef special
pizza. All these dishes area must try once visiting Arcadians. There pizzas are rich in cheese and
freshly made and served on the table. There deep-fried lasagna was a new concept they
introduced with deep friend cheese in the lasagna.

The wide variety of prawns they offer makes a lot of these dishes taste better. Weaveball
prawns, a recent addition to their menu was a superhit. Prawns were deep fried in weaves’ which
make them super crunchy and served with a special dip. Hence there isn’t any evidence left to
say that tough Arcadians have a lot of cuisines on their menu, but they do justice to all of them.
Like they are consumed all over the world. Arcadians just enhance the traditional recipes to give
the customer the utmost pleasure and a fine dine in experience.

(Jimin Shim, 2021) talks about that how CSR is related to the sustainability of the business. CSR
can be linked to the financial performance of the firm or it can be linked to the ethical concerns
and hot to address any issue that arises. The study also shows that the management needs to
allocate more funds towards charity, supporting the education, housing and other basic needs of
the people and not just maintaining their level of profit.

When we talk about the CSR and restaurants, one of the main things that has to be done is to
reduce the food wastage. Arcadians try its level best to reduce the food wastage and at times
offer discounts unto 10% for the minimal wastage of food. Furthermore, the leftover food is then
distributed among the needy. Arcadians is also investing in their staff, to train them to reduce the
wastage of resources being provided. Another moto is to go green; Arcadians is aiming to go
green by reducing the usage of plastic and other such materials, but at a slow pace.

Other literatures also shows that restaurants need to cutoff their investments into the
environmental activities and invest more in to training and education, since the investment in the
environmental activated depicted a negative relation. A reason for this negative relation could be
the lack in guidance when following the already set procedures. At times the rules set by the
head office are not properly followed by the individual restaurants. Therefore, it results in the
mismanagement and thereby increasing the cost. This can be avoided by simply implementing
the rules and thereby reducing the cost. Arcadians is already on their path towards implementing
all the set rules and minimizing the costs.

Some of the literature shows that studies were being conducted in Greek when very minimal
CSR were found in a sample of more than 200 restaurants. At another place, (Anastasios
Liapakis1, 2015) some largest Greek dairy and meat companies to check the CSR. Evidence
proved that huge level of organizations attempts to help the general public regardless of the
obstructions of the significant obligation emergency. Also, the Greek agri-food organizations
have begun to focus in CSR procedures.
Arcadians’ café uses the finest ingredients, so that not only the customers get satisfied by also to
look for their health. The food they offer is of finest quality with a fine dine experience. They
also look for forward to their employed and are involved in CSR. They set an example for other
such cafes to opt for such ways of operations.

Conclusion
There is no doubt in the fact that Arcadians has made a name in the Resturant business. They are
doing very well in terms of customer services and food quality. Tough they have 4 branches but
the taste and quality at each of them remains constant. They offer a fine dine-in experience and
makes it worthwhile for there customers. Due to there phenomenal taste and prime locations,
they have an edge over other such cafes and restaurants located in that area.

They are involved in the CSR activities as well, which not only helps the people but also helps
the Resturant have a good image in the eyes of people. Since, the world has got so much
advanced and everything is reported.

Lastly, the Resturant could do better in terms of making their customers more aware about the
CSR activities and secondly, they can give some free deserts to the customers for not wasting
food. Giving people such incentive will reduce the food wastage to a huge amount.
