Provincial Standard Forms—Bxcept in the case of offices mentioned in rule 444 sanction for the use of provincial standardised forms by offices ofthe Exst while Central Government, located inthe provinces, must be obiained from the Controller who will communicate the sanction to the indenting officer and inform the supplying authority concemed 4. Special Forms will not be printed unless they have been duly sanctioned and ‘numbered for each office or department; such sanction should be obtained from the Controller. Sanction will, however, not be given to any form— (@) fa sandard form, or an existing sanctioned special form, can be used for the purpose ; (b) unless the consumption is at least 200 per annum, except in the cast of such forms as cannot be conveniently prepared in manuseript . The final set up of a form and the quality of paper tobe usod wil be decided by the sanctioning authority, A list of forms already sanctioned is given in Appendix V except those pertaining to the Defence Services which are contained in the “Classified List of + ‘Army Forms an Books and Bangladesh Army Forms Sanctioned special forms cannot be altered or amended without the previous sanction of the Controller; such alterations should be avoided, as they involve additional expenditure, Special forms, whether sanctioned or not, and in the case of new forms not sanctioned for printing whether required to be printed as an experimental measure or to ‘meet a casual demand, are obtainable by indent on the Controlier in standard form 96, which should be submitted in duplicate, except in the case of Central Offices in Erst while Bangladesh which in the case of sanctioned forms only will indent direct on the Stationery & Forms Officer, Jaidebpur. Every indent for special forms should be accompanied by a sample copy of each form. If the forms are sanctioned forms, the sample should be the latest printed copy. If the forms have at yet been santioned, and a printed sample snot availble, the sap, should be a clear typescript or manuscript copy in working size ‘No Ministry, Division or office other than those mentioned in Appendices I and Tl is authorized to submit indents for forms either to the Clearing Section or to the Stationery and Forms Office, Jaidebpur, as the case may be, Offices not mentioned in these Appendices should submit their ‘indents through the office to which-they are subordinate unless specifically authorized otherwise. 5. Indents for Standard and special forms—A single indent which should be ‘separately for standard and special forms should be submitted by cach * Stike or 8 to cover its annual requirements of all the forms On the dates entered in Appendices TV and V. Form work is not ated as urgent or immediate, and: in the absence of special insirctions to the contrary a period of two months must be allowed between the dates of indent and supply. 6. Check on forms—Care should be taken by indentors to indent for the minimum sumber of forms required. The Controller’ office in the ease of special forms, and the supplying officers inthe case of standard forms, will keep a close watch ‘over indents, and in the case of forms that are used in small quantities will consider thei abolition. They wil also from time to time suggest amalgamation of forms, wfere possible and economy in size, paper and set-up. 3 1. Distribution of special forms and consolidation of indents for them —-Ministries etc, should wherever possible, consolidate indents of the various.offices attached or subordinate’ to them for special forms where, more than one subowdinate office requies de same forms for 8 use. Where indents are Consolidated, te distribution of printed copies will be made as follows -— (2) if the indenting office is in the same station as the press which prints the forms, the printed copies will be made over to it for individual
