Your real worth is defined by how much more value you give than how much you
get paid.

Before looking at profits, ask yourself, does this serve others?


There’s nothing wrong with profits, but don’t only focus on profits. When you
create value as a way of life, the profits will follow.
Remember that value is not only about money. People also value your time,
attention, concern, energy etc.
To have a great business, seek to deliver unbelievable value, i.e. give such high

Your income is decided by the number of people you serve and how well you serve

Your influence is defined by how often and how much you focus on others’
interests first.

Don’t keep score of when/how you help people, nor aim for a 50-50 split of
benefits.

The best way to build strong relationships is to focus 100% on helping the
other person, with no strings attached. True givers attract others.

Giving ≠ self-sacrificing. It’s about temporarily setting aside your selfinterest


to focus on others.
