Thesis Statement: Children should advise their parents to listen when there
is an argument, having ones freedom and feel the respect to promote having
an easier life.

A Healthy Relationship Between Parents and their Children will Lead

them into a Brighter Future.

Parents in general have some difficulty in “really” listening to their children.

This aspect of the parent-child relationship can be hard, especially if parents
or parent (single parent) are having a hard time at work, experiencing fatigued,
so busy, or having a bad day.By this parent set aside their child's mental and
emotional health by throwing hurtful words, not respecting their child's opinion
and not listening to what they are saying.

According to Keisha Henry (2021) Children know how they feel and what they
need. What their actions often tell is their need for support and a safe
space. In this space, good healthy communication can happen. Per an article
in the Healthy Families, British of Columbia, (https://bdpeds.com/critical-
importance-of-listening-to-your-child/) the 4 tenets of good communication
with children have the qualities of being basic, content-related, instrumental,
and reflective. These four parts allow the following: Encourages them to talk
to you listening so they can tell you how they feel, actively listen and respond
in a sensitive way to different things (i.e. good news, bad news, negative and
positive emotions), being able to focus on non-verbal or their body language
to interpret or understand what they are saying as well as their words, and
giving your kids encouragement and unconditional acceptance to talk.

A child who has a parent that is not listening are often develops anxiety and
worst depression. They also feel that they have no room or space in their
family and often commit mistakes because of being anxious at everything they
do. It also creates so much trouble that sometimes a child is being rebellious
to their parents. A parent being advised by their child is somewhat good in a
way that a child is expressing that their parent is being too much and it has a
bad impact to their health. Also parent should know their limitation to their kid
and always mind their words especially if they are having a bad day.
Respecting their kids opinion will also help them boost the situation.

All in all having a good communication from both parties will lead into great
result. A parent who listen to their child will lead their child into the world of
success and promote a healthy relationship between them. On the other hand
it will teaches their child how to listen effectively as well.
