One Stop Shop for All Screen-Printing Solutions

Business Profile
In the early 1990s, the Al Hareb group had a vision of starting a screen-
printing solutions company in the U.A.E. Screen printing is more versatile
than traditional printing techniques. The surface does not have to be printed
under pressure, unlike etching or lithography, and it does not have to be
planar. Different inks can be used to work with a variety of materials, such
as textiles, ceramics, wood, paper, glass, metal, and plastic. As a result,
screen printing is used in many different industries.
Introduction

Screen printing is the process of pressing ink through a stenciled mesh screen
to create a printed design. It’s a popular technique used in a whole range of different
industries, so even if you've never heard of the term before today, it’s likely that you’ve
worn or used a screen-printed product at some point without even realizing it. The
process is sometimes called serigraphy or silk screen printing, but all these names
refer to the same basic method. Screen printing is an effective technique for creating
bold canvases, posters, and artwork, but the method can also be used to print fabrics
and textiles.

Step By Step Process

➢ Step 1: The design is created

➢ Step 2: The screen is prepared
➢ Step 3: The emulsion is exposed
➢ Step 4: The emulsion is washed off, creating the stencil
➢ Step 5: The Item Is Prepared for Print
➢ Step 6: The ink is pressed through the screen onto the item
➢ Step 7: The product is dried, checked, and finished
Choosing The Materials- Most Important Part

The ink, pigment, or paint is pushed through the mesh screen and onto the item
being printed, transferring a colored imprint of the stencil design onto the product.
There’s much more to choosing an ink than just picking a color. There are lots of
specialist inks, which can be used to create different effects on the finished product.
For instance, a printer may use glittery inks, texturized inks, or puff inks (which
expand to create a raised surface) to create a unique look or feel. The printer will also
consider the type of fabric being screen printed, as some inks will work better on
certain materials than others.

If a garment has been properly screen printed by a trained professional using

heat-treated washable ink of best quality brands, then the design shouldn’t wash out.

3) Stencil Emulsions- In 1990, Fujifilm Sericol was given the Queen's Award for
Technological Achievement in
acknowledgment of its pioneering work with
screen-printing emulsions – specifically, the
development of the DIRASOL 900 range of
diazo photopolymer emulsions. These
advanced products answered customer needs
for a range of stencil emulsions that would work
with all the ink systems, compete for quality
with photo stencil films, and were easy to process. This world-beating Dirasol range of
emulsions had a great impact on print quality, and they continue to cater to all screen
printer’s requirements from graphic to textile printing. Fujifilm Sericol has recently
introduced the EMU series of emulsions. The latest in line is EMU033, EMU034, and
EMU014 Emulsion for Textile Printing. Emulsions have resistant to solvent-based,
conventional UV, water-based UV, Water-based Inks, and Plastisol Inks.

A bunting is any festive decoration made of fabric, or plastic,

paper, or cardboard in imitation
of fabric. Typical forms of buntings are strings of colorful,
monochrome, beige triangular flags, and lengths of fabric in
the colors of national flags gathered and draped into swags
or pleated into fan shapes.

graphics, SAATI continues to innovate, improve,
and refine its product quality, while maintaining
a competitive price. It does this by using

production systems. Our fabrics enable us to print any type of ink and always obtain the
