ONLINE VISUALIZATION TOOLS FOR
GRAPHIC ORGANIZERS (WITH MIND
MAPPING)
ONLINE VISUALIZATION TOOLS FOR
GRAPHIC ORGANIZERS
Graphic Organizers refer to visual tools that show relationships between or
among simplified information. Facts or figures are presented in a precise visual
and stimulating way that the audience can easily understand. It can also be
called concept maps, knowledge maps, or concept diagrams.
Various forms of graphic organizers are used in different settings and materials
where delivering information is needed. First exposure to this kind of visual
starts at school and continues in business. Visuals and graphics can be used
and seen on flyers, posters, brochures, manuals, infographics, and the like.
TYPES OF GRAPHIC ORGANIZERS
There are diverse graphic organizers to choose from in presenting qualitative or
quantitative
information. You can also create your own visuals for as long as it can represent
your
content correctly.
These are the basic categories of graphic organizers that may be used in most
data:
CYCLICAL ORGANIZER
illustrates a series of events or continuous
processes. Water cycle and action research
are good concepts that can be used with it.

relationship of stratified
elements, usually superordinate
or subordinate. Examples of
topics that are appropriate for
this organizer are political
systems or the human body.

food chain are great topics to
exhibit this kind of graphic
organizer.

Manufacturing and workflow processes are good examples for
this.
CYCLICAL ORGANIZER
exhibit data about frequency, patterns, and trends over time. Possible
topics that may cover this graphic organizers are mortality rate and
survey outcomes.
STORYBOARD

or motion picture which includes images,
dialogues, or descriptions to provide
important plots of the content. Movie scenes
and comic teasers are best examples that
depict a storyboard.
COMMONLY USED GRAPHIC ORGANIZERS
In a classroom setting, students are required to do reports, summaries,
presentations, and printouts to express their ideas and knowledge. Since there
are a number of ways to collate information and turn it into simplified visuals,
here are some of the most commonly used graphic organizers applicable to
learners.
A Venn diagram, often shown as overlapping circles, is a graphic organizer that
defines similarities and differences between or among concepts.
Concept wheel is a graphic organizer that describes a central idea. It is

supporting ideas nested on it. It may be presented with a tree or stack of boxes.
Chain diagrams display cause-and-effect relationships or a set of outcomes
from a specific movement.

ONLINE TOOLS IN CREATING GRAPHIC
ORGANIZERS
Graphic organizers as a learning aid to students and even professionals have
paved the way for aesthetics and visualizations. Due to this, different platforms

compilation of contributed geographical data
from different websites that provide graphical
representation of the Earth’s surface through
an online platform. These are created using a
geographic information system, which is
responsible for displaying layers of spatial and
