Hero for Indonesia

Assalamualaikum, good afternoon everyone when Mr Adit told us to bring our topic
for today which the topic was “what does it takes to be a Hero for Indonesia” do you guys
know who did appear in my mind? The person appeared in my mind was my mother. I was
thinking about that for about I think a 10 or even 15 minutes when I prepared my self for this
speech. I mean why? Is my mother can be called as a Indonesian Hero? Then I think yes she
can even, the judges can, even you guys can even my self can as well. Well let me tell a tiny
part of my mother. My mother is medical personnel she is a nurse at my hometown. When I
was at the time when I wait for college admissions I used to deliver My Mother’s lunch and
that time I sat in the waiting room waiting my mother one of my mother’s patient and he
already knew me before and he said ”Ma you have a wonderful Mother” that time I just
answered “ o ya?” I said. But the longer I think it is true My Mother when it was the peak of
covid pandemic she went out at 7 A M and got back home at 10 P M everytime she came
home my little brother and sisters can’t even kiss her hand because she was in contact with
severe Covid patient. My mother almost every day when the covid reach its peak she handled
people who dead because of covid. She needs to wear personal protective equipment which
was very stiflingy hot. A layered masker even sometimes she has to wear 2-3 layers of mask
can you guys imagine. Sometimes she has to watch a person dying in front of her eyes. And
some of you guys maybe say “Hey Ma she got paid for it” Yes she got paid, for betting her
life. And people nowdays see a politician as their hero they see an artist as their hero, they see
their favourite football players as their heroes but people never even see people like my
mother who work hard who sacrifice their life just to make sure nobody has to suffer
anymore.Some people even talking about my Mother “ hey why she came house late?” they
said sometimes I heard it by myself and I need to hold on. Now ladies and gentleman a hero
is the one who sacrificing their own right for other people life’s matter. And a hero will
never care what other people said, because they know if they are doing the right thing they
will never stop. That’s a hero and now as I said, everyone can be a hero for Indonesia just by
done a small things and will it be so easy? To done a small little things, the answer is not
really you need to have strong mentality to ignore what other people say to you, for example
