PRECAUTIONS
32CPRU PCB contents EPROM chips (X4 / X5 / X6 / X7) to control main software. There is
one DIP switch “SW” located beside CR2032 lithium battery.
- After the completion of the system settings for the customer/user site, “SW” on 32CPRU
PCB has to be set at “HOT” position to keep the input data. And, make sure CR2032
lithium battery is mounted in “BAT” clip to back-up the input data electrically.
For the details of 32CPRU PCB, refer to “Section 3” (32CPRU-B1 Central Processing Unit)
on page 3-5 in “dX-Z96 Hardware Manual”.
1. How to Program
(2) Enter system data programming mode from the display key telephone connected to
the extension port 1. (Actually, any display key telephones at any DSTU port can
enter the programming mode.)
1) Enter necessary command numbers and program them as per required for the
customer/user site.
(4) Exit from programming mode. (The data shall be kept in RAM area.)
Enter Command>
In case of new software version is released, the EPROMs may be sent to you as per
your request. For replacing the EPROMs, you have to take out the 32CPRU PCB after
turning OFF the AC main power. And, you may need to replace the EPROMs on the
PCB accordingly. After replaced them, “COLD Start” must be carried out. It means that
the previous stored data shall be gone. If you have PC Programming software with
you, you can store the previous data into PC side first. In this case, by down-loading
the stored data to the system side again after the COLD Start, you may not lose the
previous data. We recommend you to use PC Programming for easy
maintenance/operation.
