STATEMENT OF EXPECTATIONS
Messiah's Mansion is a Christian, mission-based ministry that upholds the values and standards
that God has given us through the teachings in the Bible. Every person who wants to work with
Messiah’s Mansion is expected to adhere to these values and standards while working with
Messiah's Mansion.
itis easy for one te interpret values and standards in different ways. In order to keep uniformity
and unity, we have created a list of values and standards within this document that must be
upheld.
‘The Messiah’s Mansion Summer Program does NOT pay a salary. Any and all who attend the
summer program are to be considered volunteers [here after referred to as staff] Food and
lodging will be provided. However, the staff is responsible for his/her own personal needs (i.
personal hygiene products, laundry .. ete}.
Although Messiah’s Mansion does not pay a salary to its Summer Program staff, if funds are
available and the staffis able to give a tour, a scholarship will be given to go towards their
current school’s tuition.
Scholarship amounts per Program are as follows:

For want of providing consistency and keeping unity within the group, starting after the first of
2 program or ending before the end of the progratn is strongly discouraged. Messiah's Mansion
would like to encourage all staffte plan on starting and ending with the rest of the program.
Doing so will provide consistency and make it easier for the whole group to get to know each
other and promote goad group dynamic throughout the summer programs.
When applying for a program, it will be expected of you to stay the entire time.

Each staff is responsible for his/her own travel to Harrah, OK and must be there the day before
the vans leave for the summer tour. If the staff is unable to make it to Harrah, then he/she
must provide his/her own travel to the first scheduled exhibit that he/she is assigned to and be
there the same-day the vans arrive.
Travel between exhibits will be provided and all staff will be brought back to Harrah, OK at the
end of the pragram. All travel after that is the respon: of the staff, if the staff would like
to leave directly from the last exhibit (after everything is packed up), he/she may but is
responsible for his/her own transportation.

There is NO cating or drinking allowed in the van — water and water only is permitted.

BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND POLICY
There are to be no romanti¢ relationships during the program. In the past, such relationships have proved to
distract those involved and make others on the program uncomfortable around them. Such distractions impede
the group's unity and ability to cncourage others” spiritual growth most effectively.
Should such a relationship be discovered, onc or both of the two involved may be subject to dismissal.

LIGHTS QUT POLICY
Lights out will be determined by the group Ieadcr and will depend on the exhibit and current situation
‘Messiah's Mansion does not take lightly the responsibility God has given us to do His work. I takes a great
deal of physical work during set-up and take-down as well as a mental toll each day of giving tours. In order to
be the most cfflctive physically and mentally, staff need a proper amount of rest. Some may also want to get up
in the early morning before worship to study their Bible; seiting a time for lights out ensures that those who

No one is permitted to be up past lights out unless in the case of an emergency.

COMPUTER/CELL PHONE POLICY
High School Students
Personal computers are not allowed on the program.
Cell phones are permitted but must be entrusted to the group leader. They can be used during free times in the
moming before work time or in the evening aficr work time. Exact times should be arranged with the group
leader.

LATENESS POLICY
‘The Messiah's Mansion summer program is a high maintenance program, Because of this, staiTs do-not have a
lot of fee time while on the program. If onc staffis late to any scheduled meeting or activity that is required
(ie. worship, meal time. ..etc.), the rest of the group, in effect, Loses free time waiting for that staff, For this
reason, all staffs are required to be on-time, if mot early, to all scheduled required meetings and/or activit

DRESS POLICY
‘Volunteers aré expoctod to-dress modestly at all times (i. no PJ's during worship or breakfast ...cte.).
Anyone found dressing inappropriately will be confronted and asked to change and shall not dress in that
manner the remainder of the program.
Staffs arc not required to wear uniforms during sct-up and take-down. However, uniforms must be worn during
tour times. Uniforms are khaki slacks and royal blue polo shirts forthe men and khaki skirts and light blue polo
shirts for the women. No skirts above the knee.
Dress shirts are the uniform on Sabbath: royal bluc button-up with a red tie for the men; light blue blouse far the

DISMISSAL
Should the breaking of any of the above policies result in a dismissal, the staf¥ will be responsible for any cost
