WHY BBA
A BBA degree can get students a monthly package of Rs. 15-20 thousand or
even more, depending on your level of competence and depth of knowledge
and understanding.
Aspirants can also pursue higher studies after your BBA which will make
your MBA degree more valuable. A post-BBA work-experience of 1-2 year
helps understand the application of management theories that they learn
during MBA.
The BBA programmes are also an industry-fit as companies look for BBA
graduates for their mass managerial openings at entry-level jobs. An MBA,
for them, is overkill for the job they offer. The positions which BBA graduates
fit into includes Cost estimator, Loss prevention manager, Sale manager,
Security officer and Operation manager, supply chain managers etc.
While the economic slowdown has toughened job market for MBA’s which
are generally hired at senior level, the entry level job opportunities have
remained mostly unaffected. BBA’s become the best fit for the positions
where corporate feel that hiring an MBA is an overkill.
The different entry-level job profiles post-BBA include that of Sales Manager,
Advertising Manager, Brand Manager, Communications Manager, Depart-
ment Manager, Warehouse Manager, Product Manager, PR Executive, Retail
Buyer and Merchandiser, Store Manager among others.

WHY BBA
The annual average salary package for the BBA’s varies in the range of Rs.
2-6 lakh depending on the institutions and capabilities of students.
The list of recruiters at the institutes includes top companies like PWC,
Deutsche Bank Global Operations, UBS Verity Knowledge Solutions, Pro-
tiviti among others. Other key recruiters include PriceWaterHouse Coopers,
Ernst and Young, Tresvista, HDFC, Convonix, Eaton Industries, Maersk,
HSBC, Catenon, Balaji Telefilms, iResearch, KPMG, Zomato among others.

WHY BBA
Careers360 brings you reasons why you should choose BBA programmes
after 12th.
12
WHY BBA
Also, the return on investment (ROI) also counts in favour of BBA. While
MBAs spend five years after their class 12 exams, it takes only three years
for BBAs to enter the job market.
13
WHY BBA
Also, despite choosing other streams at UG level, their dream for corporate
role and managerial position may come true as you can enter the domain
by pursuing an MBA degree after your graduation from any other stream.
While most of the BBA students look forward to pursuing an MBA degree
either immediately after their BBA or after a one-two year work experience,
the cost of their management education during BBA increased their financial
burden and makes their Return on Investment (ROI) a bigger challenge. Also,
many institutes including IIM-Indore offer 5-year integrated programme in
management covering BBA part also, which makes a separate BBA degree
redundant.
