Here are some suggestions of book series that students love and some authors who read
lots of different books that are loved by children worldwide! This is only a small list to
give you some ideas to start with!

Available in the school library

A to Z mysteries by Ron Roy – A series of mysteries in short chapter books.

Magic tree house by Mary Pope Osbourne - A series of adventures in short chapter
books.

Alvin Ho by Lenore Look – a series of books about a boy’s struggles at school and with
friends.

Judy Blume – An author who has written a lot of children’s books great for both boys and
girls, the fudge series (superfudge, fudge-a-mania) are in the school library

Boyz rule and girlz rule – Fun adventure stories in short chapter books for both girls and
boys.

Flat Stanley: Worldwide adventures – Fun series about a boy who is flat!

Roald Dahl: An endless collection of wonderful stories from one of the UK’s favorite
authors.

Percy Jackson Book series by Rick Riordan – A fantasy book series.

Goosebumps Book Series by R. L Stine – Horror stories suitable for grade 4 students.

Diary of a wimpy kid by Jeff Kinney – A funny book series.
